Lets all pray for a speedy recovery for Sen. Kennedy as he undergoes surgery. Although I greatly disagree with his policies and issues, he is God's creation and is loved by his family and friends. For that we should pray for his health.

Here's what I think is gonna happen tonight:
Democratic Side:
First Place: Barack Obama
Second: Hillary Clinton
Third: John Edwards
But all will be real close to make it a 3 way tie heading into next Tuesdays New Hampshire Primary so no clear winner tonight.
Republican Side:
First Place: Mitt Romney
Second Place: Fred Thompson or Mike Huckabee
Third Place: Mike Huckabee or Fred Thompson

Chip Pickering was a very reliable and well liked representative in our state. Its sad to see him go. But, this means we need some help here in Mississippi. Pickering defeated Democrat Representative Shows back in 2002 when they were forced to run against each other due to redistricting.

I have been sick the last couple days with a summer cold and have resorted to laying around doing nothing. As a result, I have watched a ton of news lately. I came across Chris Matthews' interview of the 3 girls with their YouTube political videos - Obama Girl, Guiliani Girl, and Hillary Girl. I think that would make the three. I have yet to watch either one of these girls videos but have seen clips of them on the news. What gets me is the audacity to make this primetime news! Chris Matthews is having a "Larry King Live" style interview with these girls actually discussing the possibility that they might influence the election with these type of videos! I'd almost be ashamed to be in this election cycle running for president...They talk like this is a high school election all based upon popularity. When is the MSM gonna get serious about the issues that really affect our country! And then to see the lousy YouTube Debates that CNN put together with handpicked, stupid videos with snowmen asking questions about he biggest fraud of our time - Global Warming. I'm sad to find out that there will be a YouTube debate for the Republicans. Hopefully Fred Thompson will not have announced yet so he won't have to stoop so low. Come on...can we have some dignity in our Presidential Races again! We are electing the President of the United States, Leader of the Free World...not the Prom King or in the case of Hillary, Queen.

I recently saw a Youtube video of a comedian on CSPAN talking about Liberalism. He hit it right on target. The video was about 50 mins long...but well worth the time watching it. However, I cannot find this video anymore...unfortunately I did not bookmark it. Here's what I know. He was a comedian from Hollywood who turned conservative after 9/11. He considers himself a 9/12 conservative and used the phrase "Liberalism with a capital "L" alot.
