Hello from a long time lurker. I read this site a lot, especially kowalski and the Academic Elephant. And since y'all live and breathe this stuff, I was wondering if I could get a quick straw poll of the Texas Governor's race.
I am in a pickle, do I vote for Kinky Friedman or Rick Perry? I have already decided that Ron Paul is gonna get my vote again as always, and pretty much gone Republican down the ticket except for state financial matters where I went Libertarian, Texas Libertarian mind you. But I am leaning towards Kinky here, though I fear I might be falling for his Texas celebrity allure. It is hard not to vote for man who has Willie Nelson by his side.
