Posted at 6:11pm on Jul. 8, 2008 Doing the “people’s work” - Democrat led Congress recieves 9% approval rating.
By paulseale
Rasmussen Reports published a report today noting that only 9% of people approve of Congress.
Forty one percent believe that Congress will not do anything to benefit America any time soon. Given Democrat's recent track record on refusing to open up domestic oil exploration, attempting to pass a massive 280 billion dollar tax increase in addition to refusing to fund the troops without massive pork added - I would agree with that sentiment.

Posted at 3:14pm on Jul. 8, 2008 How to apply downward pressure on the oil market.
By paulseale
Lower economic numbers from European nations put significant downward pressure on the market as oil prices continued to dip today.
Why is this relevent?
To understand how to bring down oil prices we need to understand what is driving the market and how to attack such durrest which pushes oil prices higher.

Posted at 5:46pm on Jul. 1, 2008 Obama, Democrats and Christian philosophy.
By paulseale
Under normal circumstances I try to keep a focused on issues of policy and substance. This topic is no different with Senator Obama's campaign trumpeting his beliefs while media outlets push the accompanying propaganda.
To that end I believe it is fair to examine Senator Obama's beliefs and let people make their own decision based on facts, not media hype.

Posted at 1:18pm on Jun. 26, 2008 But what about the dissenting opinions?
By paulseale
Most of you probably know by now that our second amendment rights were affirmed this morning in a five to four decision to strike down the Washington, D.C. gun ban. This is a wonderful day for our individual rights and freedoms to be sure. You can down load the opinion by visiting the SCOTUS Blog here.
Yet my elation was tempered by the shock of hearing that the decision was five to four, one vote away from killing one of the most fundamental rights enshrined in our Bill of Rights. Why was the vote that close? What was the reasoning of the four other justices?

Posted at 4:09pm on Jun. 25, 2008 McCain releases "Lexington" energy independence proposal.
By paulseale
Senator McCain decided to put his money where is mouth is and announced a specific program aimed at energy independence by 2025. Its name is dubbed "Lexington" in reference to the town which Americans began the struggle for independence more than two hundred years ago.
The proposal is nothing less than the realization of the call for a "moon shot" type program which is necessary to break us from our current oil addiction. The best part, though, is its steady progressiveness which deals with energy problems in stages and easies the burden on the average person and engages the private sector without pandering to special interests.

Posted at 2:40am on Jun. 18, 2008 United Kingdom court releases Bin Laden's "right hand man in Europe."
By paulseale
If someone wants an example of why Bin Laden and his group must be laughing all the way after the United States Supreme Court decision last week creating a defacto "terrorist bill of rights," one must only look as far as what happened recently in the United Kingdom.

Posted at 9:54am on Jun. 10, 2008 Senators Fienstein, Martinez and Obama propose to make national finger print database.
By paulseale
No, this isnt a joke. It is something very serious and should be treated as such.
The Heratige foundation reported yesterday that a bill with bipartsian sponsors would require those working in the real estate industry to submit their finger prints to a national database.
For individuals, who have comitted no crimes, to be forced send their finger prints into some sort of national database is nothing less than a fundamental breach of our individual rights and freedoms.

Posted at 8:54pm on Jun. 4, 2008 Missouri GOP Gubernatorial race is dumb.
By paulseale
Thats right, you heard me, its DUMB. D - U - M - B.
The race as it stands is everything that Democrats and the media could hope for. What do I mean? Well there are two Republican candidates who seemingly believes its better to take less than substanative pot shots at each other instead of give us (the voters) a reason to vote for them.
I want to know where these candidates are on positions of taxes and keeping government limited.

By paulseale
After reading the text of the Obama speach tonight I am honest to God frieghtened more than any other time in my life of a particular person (Obama) being elected with the keys in hand to Congress.
Remember all those accusations Democrats made of Republicans being rubber stamps for Bush and taking away our rights and destroying the middle class? Well those will be fact if Obama wins the presidency. Dont take my word for it - read and watch his speach for your self.

Posted at 9:56am on May 30, 2008 Honor our fallen by securing victory in Iraq and Afghanistan.
By paulseale
Earlier this week we celebrated Memorial Day. A time of remembering those who paid the ultimate sacrafice so we and others around the world might live free.
Which brings us to a few rather unfortunate happenings in the media and political realm within the last few days.
First Senator Obama still refused to meet with General Petraeus or acknowledge the progress made in Iraq over the past year while seeking an unconditional sit down with the Iranian President. Instead, he called the request by Vets for Freedom - echoed by Senator John McCain - a diversion from policy discussion.
