By thomherfs

With the four photos of Fidel Castro, supposedly taken yesterday and showing him recuperating, I found this article that raises three interesting questions about those pictures.

It also points out what might be a photoshop manipulation of the one picture that shows Castro holding up yesterday's newspaper.

This could be very, very interesting.

Details after the jump.

Posted at 7:08pm on Aug. 7, 2006 What I Learned About Winston Churchill and Freedom From the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

By thomherfs

Ironically, some of the most thought-provoking political commentary that I've read while Redstate was being upgraded has been at a Cigar Site.

A lot of it has to do, naturally, with the situation in Cuba and the questions around Fidel Castro. The site has sources in Havana, and in Miami's Little Havana, and has been a useful source of inside info on where Castro was hospitalized (CIMEQ), what is wrong with him (probably metastatic stomach cancer - incurable), and what the prognosis is (death within a few weeks if he survived the surgery).

Today though, I ran across a gem that has nothing to do with Castro and Cuba. Instead, it talks about the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I wanted to share my thoughts about it with readers here at Redstate because it taught me something I didn't know about Winston Churchill. It is also very important because of a prediction Churchill made back in the forties that is coming true today.

Frighteningly true.

More below the fold.
