It's a tough night all around for all of us who believe in conservative principles and limited government.

But I urge all of you to realize that this is a great opportunity to bring our party back to the conservative principles of 1994.

Remember that year? That was the year that Rick Santorum SKUNKED incumbent Harris Wofford to become the junior senator in pennsylvania. It was the year that Mike Dewine took John Glenn's old Senate seat. What happened that day was something I didn't think I'd see in my lifetime: a conservative majority in the U.S. Legislative branch.

Why do I get the vibe that we conservatives are throwing in the towel right before the most important two weeks of the election cycle?

I'm reading everywhere and all I see is doom and gloom. What's going on here? We're not Democrats! We're not the party of negativity!

There are a few things that we must remember as the mid term election draws closer:

1. We are winning. All of the ideas being set forth in the public arena are Republican ideas. All the liberals are offering in return is a hateful message that, while it may rally the kooks, has no hope of winning over the general electorate. THEIR ONLY HOPE IS TO SUPPRESS CONSERVATIVE TURNOUT.
