Hope this doesn't sound overly crass.. but it is worth mentioning that his seat will stay in the party's hands, even if he should be forced to step aside for whatever reason:

Just voted. Not many people there. This is strong Democrat district (the Dem incumbent congresswoman is unopposed). This weak Democrat turnout might help push Tom McClintock over the finish line this time.

I walked right in, told them my name, and they handed me a ballot (no identification required!).

We use an InkaVote system. It is sort of like the old chad system, but instead of punching through the chad, you mark the circle with a red ink impression.

The new survey finds a growing percentage of likely voters saying they will vote for GOP candidates. However, the Democrats still hold a 48% to 40% lead among registered voters, and a modest lead of 47%-43% among likely voters.
