Senator Barack Obama and his supporters claim that he is being treated unfairly as they seek to defuse the controversy surrounding his former Pastor Reverend Wright
Obama in the wake of the recent back and forth between himself and Reverend Wright finally chose to disown him and his radical accusations and statements, but this is only one of his many connections to radical elements in our society and now that the head is off the Trojan Horse, it is time to look deeper into it.

Congressional Democrats seem hell-bent on punishing the troops for achieving successes they in Iraq by denying them funding for continued operations and crushing the last elements of Al-Qaeda in Iraq.
The truth of the matter is that Democrats want to punish the troops for making them look bad in the eyes of the American Voter because they publicly denounced the surge of troops into Iraq as failed before it even started and now that Democrat Leaders such as Harry Reid (D-NV) have been proven wrong, the Democrat Leadership is now out for revenge against the troops for finding a formula for successes.

I as a veteran am completely opposed to any form of amnesty for illegal allies living and working in the United States of America.
Just like myself in 1993, the President and Congress took a Constitutional Oath to defend this nations from enemies foreign and domestic, now rather than do their Constitutional Duty in enforcing our immigration laws, it seem that President Bush and Congress are seeking to give citizenship to those who have done nothing to earn it, broke our laws in coming here illegally and commit crimes, flee our justice system and leave maimed and dead Americans in their wake.

The Great Disconnect between the Republican Party and the Conservative Base
The Republican Party better get its act together like yesterday and realize that without its
Conservative base, that they will be left to wonder in the wilderness for many more years to come.
Republicans in Congress are now back in the minority after 12 years of majorities granted to them by the base who envisioned the death of big government agencies like the Departments of Education and Energy with control of the purse strings from 1994-2006 and in 2000 with the election of George W. Bush the base demanded the unabated end of the Clinton Era Tactics of manipulation federal government numbers and phony government surpluses.

I am a Naval Veteran and I thought I would post the facts on the current level of education that members of our military have and how it has benefitted their warfighting skills as a whole. I would encourge other military members on RS to add to my post.
Facts:
1)A growing number of Non Commissioned Officers, Limited Duty Officers and Chief Warrant Officers have or are obtaining college degrees while in uniform which is adding formal education to a massive pool of experienced professionals that shape jr. military members.

I have always been perplexed by the political relationship between the Democrat Party and the Black Community.
I view this relationship as being similar to that of an abusive boyfriend who punches his girlfriend in her face, throws her down the stairs and then walks over her twitching carcass, but in this relationship he can remain comfortable in the knowledge that she will never leave him and in the end find everyway possible to blame herself, since he has convinced her she has nowhere else to go and as another election approaches the beloved boyfriend is knocking on Black Community’s door singing sweet nothings all the while cracking his knuckles, palming his fists and checking his shoes before the door opens.
