"The House of Representatives introduced a bill decreeing that the Spanish Inquisition was a cruel act of genocide, resulting in the deaths and removal of the Moorish citizens of the Iberian Peninsula. Ferdinand and Isabel, the new King and Queen of recently united Spain, finding themselves with little to do since Columbus had been dispatched in three leaky tubs, moved against the Islamic population with the intent of killing all of them.
