The uninformed public image of McCain right now is "Honest Republican Senator Who Favors Reforming Washington."
Giuliani is "The Mayor Who Cleaned Up NYC and Was Brave on 9/11"
What does the average Republican primary voter, who is not already thinking about 2008 not know about these guys? Here is my take on McCain.
The Good:
He is the son and grandson of top Navy admirals, and volunteered for a huge number of daring and highly dangerous bombing missions deep into enemy territory in Vietnam. (Romney, by the way, was busy recruting Frechmen into the Church of Latter-Day Saints during the war.)
