In reference to Slate's Global Warming Mission Statement
Indeed, the weather recently is almost as scary as politically and ideologically motivated official-sounding reports, Ms. Applebaum! Global Warming "science" to many doubters is reminiscent of the idiot warriors' pronouncements in Monty Python & The Holy Grail. And has the same scientific prowess. If a woman accused of witchcraft floats, she's made of wood. If made of wood, she must have made herself that way--and be a witch!
