I know this will be my third post on this matter in the last few days, but I just don't understand how else to explain my point of view to those Republicans and Democrats who are positioning themselves to support withdrawal. A few facts to mull over for those who doubt our troops:
Fact 1)
Right now, Iraq is facing an assault from the same type of Islamist extremists who attacked us on in September of 2001.

Here is the deal. I thought going to war with Iraq was the wrong thing to do.
However, given our current situation, all of my friends' suggestions to just totally leave Iraq drive me crazy. No matter what you believe about our reasons to be in Iraq, the fact is, we ARE IN IRAQ NOW. We must act accordingly.
All my liberal friends want to withdraw right now. I believe that is 100% unacceptable and I have no liberal friends to support me. We must support the soldiers who are fighting to defend the United States at all times.

Hi RedStaters,
I have been a reader of RedState for atleast a year. I love this site; I enjoy hearing points of view that I totally disagree with (I pretty much disagree with almost 90% of points made on this site).
Basically, I am very liberal. I have been liberal my whole life. However, lately I have been having a huge problem with my belief system, mainly I have been having a huge problem with those who espouse the ideals I think are right.
