I've long suspected that Mitt Romney's "conversion" was probably half-true, but also greatly motivated by his desire for the presidency. ABC News has a rather interesting article that calls his views on abortion into question;, his inconsistent actions after his "conversion," are troubling.
It's not that he nominated a pro-choice judge, or supported stem cell research, or has a record of appointing less than conservative judges. It's that he's pretending to be someone acceptable to the conservative base when the reality indicates that, at least as Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney is a moderate.
