Posted at 1:36am on May 26, 2007 Faisal Gill - Family Man
By charleswayne
Sometimes in all the rush to smear candidates, we forget that they are human beings with real lives and real people involved in those lives.
Faisal Gill is a family man, with a wife and four children. He is strongly committed to the cause of the family, and would be a great representative for the district if you wanted someone who understood what it took to raise a family, and knew what it was like to raise a family and how government hinders and helps families.

Posted at 8:14pm on May 24, 2007 Faisal Gill - A Patriotic American
By charleswayne
In Virginia's 51st district race, there is a republican "convention" to chose our nominee. Both candidates are good conservatives. I live in a neighboring district and have not endorsed either candidate.
However, I know Faisal Gill, and am disturbed by all the false assertions made about him by people who don't know him, fueled by half-truths and unfounded accusations made by a local blogger who is being sued for slander by a man represented by Faisal Gill's law firm.

Posted at 7:58pm on May 24, 2007 Faisal Gill - Right on Illegal Immigration
By charleswayne
Some people who support Faisal Gill's opponent in the 51st district Virginia State delegate race are desparate. Having found that Faisal has filed many more delegate forms than his opponent, they have decided to pull out all the stops.
They even have a blogger here at Redstate helping them out.
Their latest smear was to suggest that Faisal Gill somehow supported illegal immigration, without any evidence whatsoever.

By charleswayne
Hello, Red State readers.
Thank you for giving me a place to express my views. I hope to use this on a more than occasional basis, and that over time my posts will be of interest to the readers here.
I write a column for a local newspaper on a freelance basis, and may post the ones here that have a national political interest.
Thanks again.
