First I will state the reasons why I can't seem to support McCain. Many have been stated here; however I have not seen any replies by his supporters that would make me feel comfortable that his positions have changed.
* McCain/Feingold - violates right to free speech
* McCain/Kennedy - Let's face it, it's amnesty
* McCain/Edwards/Kennedy - Massive increase in trial lawyer profits.
* McCain/Leiberman - Environmentalist Agenda - Tax on Energy -The EPA estimates that this would raise the tax on gas by 68 cents per gallon and would reduce the United States GDP by as much as $5.2 Trillion.

I found this article (American Spectator) VERY interesting. As a Fred Head this is a possibility. We must stop McCain before he gets the nomination.
