Posted at 4:27pm on Jan. 9, 2008 Time for a "Come to Jesus" in South Carolina a/k/a my free advice to the Fred "campaign"
By Limited Government
I am a Fred guy, but this is not a "vote for Fred" piece. This is a "Fred's campaign is on life support and here's my two cents" piece. So don't take this as a slight on [insert your preferred candidate other than Fred here].
I don't know how much Fred has been paying for policital advice, but I think it's fair to say whatever it is, he's not got his money's worth. So this is my free advice. At least he isn't going to overpay for it. (More below the fold...)

Posted at 12:53pm on Jan. 2, 2008 I was going to do a negative blog on Huckabee, but I have decided not to post it...
By Limited Government
I was going to do a factual hit piece on Mike Huckabee and air my grievances against the alleged Iowa frontrunner. However, I believe that there is enough negativity without this type of negative campaigning. I'm not going to be the one to drag us down this road.
HOWEVER, just in case you doubt whether I was prepared to do a negative post on Huck, what I was going to say is capsulized in the links below. More ...

By Limited Government
Limbaugh came out today and stated:
"I worry that he supported McCain-Feingold and that he might not be a strong supply-sider. But on most issues, he seems reliably conservative and appears to have a solid and strong character. I do believe that with Fred, we know what we are getting.
I find his lack of "fire in the belly" refreshing. He strikes me as one of the few presidential candidates since Ronald Reagan whose primary motivation is not personal aggrandizement but rather serving and leading the nation in very troubled and dangerous times. I see him as almost being drafted into this project, and his refusal to drool publicly over the prospect of becoming the most powerful man in the world is positively delightful." more below...

Posted at 6:35pm on Jun. 4, 2007 Immigration Solution: Stop Demand!
By Limited Government
Illegal immigration is a lot like the drug trade (STAY WITH ME) - drugs will always make it into the U.S. as long as there is demand for drugs. Likewise, as long as there is a demand for cheap, illegal labor, illegal immigrants will flow into the country. Illegals will always try (and at some level, succeed) to enter the U.S. when they have the opportunity to vastly improve their own, and their family's, life. Who can blame them? Read on...

Posted at 1:47pm on May 18, 2007 Amnesty Plan - Where is Phil Grahm when you need him?
By Limited Government
In view of the news on the current illegal immigrant amnesty plan, I recall the day when Sen. Phil Grahm, in standing against Hillary's healthcare takeover bid (passage seemed like a foregone conclusion at the time), stood up and said:
"THIS BILL WILL PASS OVER MY COLD, DEAD, POLITICAL BODY." (this is close anyway)
The Republicans got some backbone and stood in the way. Is there a Phil G
