Posted at 11:16pm on Jul. 9, 2008 McCain Is Heads Above Obama In Townhall Setting
By Sheila Frush
I was quite impressed with McCain's approach to townhall meetings on CSPAN. Unlike the vacuous Obama and his tightly controlled audience with no interaction, McCain allows questions from leftists, and handles them quite well. He also has a sense of humor, while Obama takes himself way too seriously.
I can see why Obama doesn't want to be in joint townhall meetings...he simply can't handle not having the teleprompters.

Posted at 2:45pm on Feb. 15, 2008 Will We Ever Win Another Election?
By Sheila Frush
I'm beginning to wonder if we can ever win another election.
We conservatives always start talking about "losing" to make our point about our dislike for a candidate, or candidates, and we do lose. We threaten to "sit out the vote" if we don't have our perfect candidate. And we continue to lose more and more ground to the leftists. Now there's a brilliant strategy!
Why do we let the media play us like a drum? We sit out the election because one representative messes up, so we wind up kicking everyone out, even the real conservatives! Remember the last congressional election? We lost a majority due to our own lack of fortitude, to make sure the good guys stayed in, while the bad guys got booted out!

By Sheila Frush
I am tired of conservative talking heads like Rush, Laura, and Ann Coulter making conservatives look like fools. They no longer represent what I am thinking...no more "dittos" from me.
Rush has gone off the reservation with his insults and attacks on John McCain. Ann Coulter looks like a loon saying she will work for Hill or Ob's campaign if John gets the nomination...and Laura bashed everyone until she drove her listeners nuts, then backed Romney...too late.

Posted at 10:09pm on Jan. 26, 2008 Off The Clinton Plantation
By Sheila Frush
Well, there's hope for the liberals...it seems there's been a major rejection of Slick Willie and his bride in South Carolina. Maybe this means the end of the Clinton "legacy", and ol' Slick as the first "black president". It would be a great day in America if the left rejected these Arkansas losers once and for all, and left the Clinton plantation for good!
I am encouraged that these liars just may have lied themselves out of a job leading our country down into the gutter.

My Wish List for the New Year, as related to politics, Hollywood, and the Media:
Honest politicians...can you just tell us who you really are, and what you believe in?
Unbiased Media...just the news, please...don't tell me what to think about it.
Decent Movies...how about some decency and dignity, instead of animalistc behavior by humans? I really would like to go to the movies more than a couple of times a year...I don't particularly like paying to be insulted! Am I crazy, or could we leave certain things to the imagination?

By Sheila Frush
Well it seems the future potential Madam President will "build on the leadership President and Mrs. Bush have shown" on the AIDS issue. Isn't that nice. On the one hand she doesn't trust Bush with national security, the war on terror, defending the unborn, and in general has insulted him at every turn, but when in front of a Christian audience while attending and AIDS summit at a Mega church in Southern California, she becomes the picture of bipartisanship.

Posted at 7:52pm on Nov. 11, 2007 Environmentalists Holding America Hostage
By Sheila Frush
We are facing an oil crisis, thanks to the radical environmentalists who have gained too much power in this country, and the timid Congress who has failed to do their job for America.
"Instead of taking proactive steps to increase supplies, Congress has fiddled around while consumers burned what we had" says National Center for Policy Analysis senior fellow H. Sterling Burnett. If Congress had acted even 10 years ago, says Burnett, the recent sharp drop in crude oil supply could have been averted.

Posted at 7:54pm on Oct. 15, 2007 Will We Have a Marxist In The White House?
By Sheila Frush
Those of us on the right have a decision to make come the 08 election.
Some conservatives have suggested voting third party, if we don't have a 100% conservative nominee, which would guarantee victory for the Democrat candidate.
Personally, if my candidate doesn't get the nomination, I am not going to give the country over to a Marxist. I will vote for the GOP nominee.
We are living in very dangerous times. I believe our country cannot afford to have the Soros/moveon/mediamatters candidate running the country.

Posted at 6:07pm on Jun. 21, 2007 With Friends Like These ...
By Sheila Frush
While perusing yahoo news this afternoon over a cup of coffee, this headline caught my eye: "Russian general derides, warns U.S. on missile shield"...a Reuter's report by Dmitry Solovyov, 6/21/07.
Solovoyov reports that "Russia's top general has reacted angrily...and warns Washington that Moscow could react with military force if it felt threatened".
With all the negative news swirling around DC, and the endless criticism of our president from every side, our "friends" abroad are busy joining the fray, taking advantage of Bush's position in the polls here in the US, to sound threatening and powerful, and gain credibility among our enemies around the world.

Posted at 12:08pm on Jun. 20, 2007 Bloomberg, October Surprises, Dem Dirty Tricks...Stay Tuned...
By Sheila Frush
Bloomberg, now an Independent, is going to throw his hat in the ring, and seek his fortunes in the bid for the White House in 08. Oh good...
Will this be bad news for the Hillary campaign? And what affect will it have on the GOP?
Personally, I think he isn't a Perot. People thought Perot was conservative. Bloomberg is a lib, so in my opinion he will hurt the dems more than the GOP.
There is still much that can happen before the elections, with the potential of Al Gore jumping in, Thompson, and Newt, not to mention world events, October surprises, the dem's outing of GOP gays, as they have promised.
