It seems that the Paulbots are receiving advice on how to become 'stealth' delegates to their local, state, and national GOP conventions. Chief advice: don't identify yourself as being for Ron Paul or against the war.
Frankly, it reeks of cowardice. If you believe in something and you want to represent that viewpoint then you have an obligation to the voters to state that view clearly. Of course, the minute a Ronulan speaks about 'monetary policy' it'd probably be a dead giveaway who they are and what they represent to begin with.

Posted at 1:18am on May 11, 2008 Obama overtakes Clinton in Democratic superdelegates
By RedFox84
Irrelevant for the time being. While the superdelegates may be verbally committed, no delegates actually cast their vote until the convention. And there's no reason for a superdelegate to not go against their word if they feel its' in the party's best interest.
Just weighing in.

Posted at 11:56pm on May 5, 2008 On Jindal Wouldn't Say No to VP
By RedFox84
As was mentioned in the Redhot section, reports are coming out that Governor Jindal wouldn't say 'no' to a VP offer. This, understandably, makes Louisiana residents concerned that he won't stick around to finish his work of reform as Governor. I say that they need not worry, despite Gov. Jindal's lack of refusal for the job, for some very simple reasons.
First and foremost, Senator McCain genuinely believes in putting the good of the nation before the good of the party. While we may disagree with him on an issue or four, I don't believe anyone doubts his motivations in that regard. He puts his country before his party and ostensibly, his electoral chances. I believe Senator McCain recognizes the good that Governor Jindal would do for Louisana, and as such, is not going to ask him to be put on the ticket.

Posted at 9:55pm on Apr. 21, 2008 McCain: "I'm going to introduce Osama Bin Laden to The Undertaker."
By RedFox84
So, as some may have heard, Senators McCain, Clinton, and Obama each gave a short, pre-taped segment to the WWE Raw audience tonight. Senator McCain did have the best of it, in my estimation, if simply because he referenced Ric Flair. Besides that, he did have the best line of the night
John McCain: "I'm going to introduce Osama Bin Laden to The Undertaker."
The Democrats gave their predictable, ham-fisted statements about how we need universal health-care.

Posted at 10:45pm on Apr. 15, 2008 Ten Commandments of Obamaism
By RedFox84
Just whipped these up after some thoughts and observations of the campaign of Barack Hussein Obama so far. I'm sure you talented and intelligent folks can come up with better.
1. You shall have no other candidate before Obama.
2. You shall not make another candidate in the likeness of Obama.
3. You shall not use Obama's middle name in vain, or otherwise.
4. Remember the primary day in your state and show up (unlike Obamagirl).

By RedFox84
Not that anyone cares, but figured I'd make a thread, just incase someone feels compelled to talk about it.
But really... yeah, no one cares. The lefties already have their savior running for President, so no need for Raplh.

Posted at 7:24pm on Jan. 31, 2008 Olbermann Ad on MSNBC
By RedFox84
I know not many people around here watch MSNBC, but I thought everyone here at RedState might be interested to know that they're running an ad for Keith Olbermann's show in which the ad actually uses the phrase "truth to power" in it.
It made me laugh.
Thought you guys might enjoy that idea as well.
