Posted at 5:49pm on Dec. 12, 2007 Huckabee sets the record straight
By cbcyouthp
This was from Wolf Blitzer's interview with Gov. Huckabee after the debate. This isn't the actual transcript, but someone from HucksArmy typing as it went along.
blitzer - the interview with NYT about Jesus and Satan being brothers? what's up with that?
huckabee - actually if you'll talk to the reporter, because he was shocked that was characterized out of that long of story - we were having a several hour long conversation, and he was trying to get my thoughts about mitt romney's religion, even though i hardly knew anything about it. and he was teaching me a lot about mormonism, so i asked that question. after the debate, i went to romney and i apologized to him and said i would never try to do some thing like that, to make his faith an issue. i've stayed away from that. that has been my position. everyone i've talked to wants me to say something about romney's faith; and they say if i avoid it, that's an underlying statement, and if i answer it, i'm attacking him. i don't know how to answer it then, but i say to you today: romney's religion or mine should not be a factor in voting for or against me.

The latest rasmussen poll shows that Gov. Huckabee is the only Republican candidate leading Sen. Clinton in the state of Arkansas.
I post this to make this point. If Gov. Huckabee did such a terrible on taxes, immigration and the other issues that are brought up, don't you think that after ten year of Governorship that the people of Arkansas would be fed up with him and never consider him for POTUS. Yet the very people that he govererned for 10 years want him to be their next POTUS.

Posted at 7:52pm on Dec. 1, 2007 Abortion - The #1 issue
By cbcyouthp
I have been truly amazed at how many "Christians" support candidates who believe that abortion is a choice that a women can have. I personally believe that abortion is murder. Death is not the result of destroying a body, it is the result of destroying a soul. Whether the body is the size of a piece of rice or the size Paul Bunyan, that does not matter. God breathed on the body of Adam, and it was then and only then that Adam became a LIVING soul. When someone chooses to destroy the "embryo" in the womb of a mother, they are choosing to murder that individual.

Posted at 3:45pm on Nov. 12, 2007 2008 - An Election of Trust
By cbcyouthp
Election 2008, to me, has come down to whom do I trust. Every candidate that I have looked into has issues that I personally do not agree with. They all say something today that they did not committ to or uphold in the past. The issues that I have seen as the most "changing of minds" issues are: abortion, taxes, marriage, and immigration. So who can I trust to uphold what they say. Or, if I do not trust any candidate to uphold what they have said, what issue is most important to me? Let's look at the candidates...
