I can't remember if that was from Shakspeare or Bugs Bunny but either way it applies to Matt Yglesias's post on the Atlantic.com. Matt claims that John McCain called his wife a "C word" and a "trollop" according to an unverified and barely sourced (Okay...He Used the Liberal Site...The Raw Story" and their story isn't sourced as to the allegations) report at The Atlantic.com

Posted at 2:38am on Nov. 26, 2007 McCain Campaign in NH "Win Here or Die?"

By AzaMatteroFact

I am a McCain Supporter and volunteer. I am also a blogger or as I was described RedStater Gordon Taylor, a “citizen journalist”. I took that as a major compliment. Because of both, I had the opportunity to sit down with Jim Barnett, Campaign Director of McCain08 in New Hampshire which is de facto the McCain campaign based on my discussion with Jim. Inan obvious play on the NH state Motto, some would say “Win here or Die.” But Barnett breaks a little news with the idea that if McCain beats expectations and finishes a strong second, that may be enough to catapult him towards South Carolina, Michigan and Super Duper Tuesday.

Okay. I almost feel sorry for NH voters. One of the prices you pay for residing in the First in the Nation state is endless phone calls from every campaign.

As I said I am calling to invite people to a town hall. The last three were Not Interested, hang-up and a resounding DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN.

McCain Super Volunteer Jeff Brown says he actually found both of Ron Paul's supporters in the state. (He is passing there names on to the Paul campaign.)

By AzaMatteroFact

While I have been reading and commenting here at RedState quite a bit, I realized I hadn't posted here in a while. For what it is worth I think my first post regarding what Thompson had to do in the Michigan debate has proved correct. The Thompson campaign has not caught fire as many hoped it would.

(Full disclosure) I am a part time political consultant. I volunteer for John McCain and have created, with the support of some other bloggers, an un-official McCain08 On-Line Strategy Memo website seeking to promote the McCain Campaign On-Line at www.McCain08OSM.com I am not paid by the campaign nor do I receive any direction from McCain08.

Posted at 7:33am on Oct. 9, 2007 Yabba Dabba Doo - Fred Joins The Debate

By AzaMatteroFact

Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson doesn’t need to have a good debate performance Tuesday night. He needs to KNOCK THE COVER OFF THE BALL. He needs to beat the rest of the field BY TEN TOUCHDOWNS.

The Thompson campaign is wisely playing the expectations game.

"We think that we'll hold our own, but obviously every other candidate on the stage has been going to these debates all year long. They've already gone through their preseason. This is our first scrimmage," said Todd Harris, a Thompson spokesman. "The most important thing for us is for Fred's message and answers to connect with Republican voters and that has been our focus."
