Mike Huckabee was Governor of Arkansas from July 1996 to January 2007. During that 10 1/2 year period, taxes that affected all citizens increased by the following amounts:
- Increase in the income tax rates: 0 percent
- Increase in the sales tax: 1 cent
- Increase in the gas tax: 3 cents a gallon
- Increase in diesel fuel tax: 4 cents a gallon

In a recent post, Neil Stevens claims (per his post title) that "Mike Huckabee and his campaign [are] lying about his record."
Mr. Stevens seems to forgotten that before you question someone's integrity in such a manner you should be secure in your facts. Instead of quoting a secondhand source he should have looked at the text of the legislation that was voted on.
