Posted at 3:40am on Apr. 15, 2008 We need a Democratic party

By bmatkin

After much thought, I have decided that a weak and corrupt DNP is not a good thing. People tend to play just above the competition. Take two sports teams, one weak, one strong; the stronger usually only plays slightly better than its weaker rival.

What this means is that the RNP is weaker because its opposition is not first rate. Since 1968 when the ultra liberals stole the Democratic party from the more mainstream middle democrats, particularly the southern bunch,(Zell Miller) we have seen a remarkable slide in the quality of Democrats, both in policy and in moral character. We saw the Republicans rise to a crescendo around the Reagan/Gingrich years and then taper off. Both Bushes have not been bad, but are rather disappointing, don't you think? Nothing has been spectacular recently.

Posted at 3:16am on Mar. 14, 2008 Let the Dems count chads again in Florida, look out, there's some stealing goin' on

By bmatkin

What does a Hillary do to change things around? She steals of course.

The big issue isn't the "Obama preacher diversion" which Hillary is most certainly responsible for. It isn't the "lack of the big 'D' beside the Eliot Spitzer sex scandal.

The big issue is the stealing of the Florida primary by Hillary and her 'super-delegate surrogates'. The rest of this stuff just distracts us from the fact that the Democratic Party is trying to steal another Florida election.

Posted at 5:35pm on Dec. 20, 2007 Hoisting Hillary on her own Petard

By bmatkin

Hillary's campaign is based on two Clintonesque ideas. 1. Allow very little access to her so she can be all things to all people. 2 When in trouble borrow a couple of Vick's pitbulls to chew up the opposition. These core campaign methods only work if the MSM is in support...TOTALLY.

Recently, there was a good article by Human events (I think) about how the Clintons are the heart and soul of the Democratic party because they don't have anyone else. While this article is correct to the mainstream bunch and the inside elites it isn't correct for the Howling Soros crowd. They feel betrayed by what they see as a right wing approach to all things Clinton.

[:wearily rubbing head: You can email us about blogs like these if we don't see 'em the first time, guys. Really. - Moe Lane]

They're doing it to us again!! As soon as Hillary gets negative press, (the Democrat inside establishment) immediately without fail, there is an news shaking event that comes along.
Monica- Cruise missiles for Sudan's aspirin factory
Bad polls- Jump on the OKC bombing and blame right wing militias

Posted at 2:36am on Nov. 27, 2007 Why I support Fred, Rudy,Mitt, John, Huck and even Ron (sometimes)

By bmatkin

Why is it we have so much negativity from inside our conservative party? Raging on about the differences between the candidates is just self destructive. The level of venom spewed by the hate Rudy or Mitt crowd is really over the top. These guys are allies, whether they win or lose.

It is perfectly correct to say you don't want Rudy to win because of his social issues, but it isn't a good idea to name call. What? you don't want fiscal conservatives to vote GOP?
