As everyone knows the 2008 Olympics are being held in Beijing, China. I'm really upset that with all the human rights violations occurring in China that countries of the free world (most notably the UK to date) are willing to have their athletes sign an oath not to mention these human rights violations while they are in China at the risk of being sent directly home. Wasn't it the British Olympic soccer team that gave the Hail Hitler Salute in 1936? Haven't they learned anything?

Based on the recent inaction on FISA, we now know that the Trial Lawyers own the House of Representatives. Can you imagine what it will be like if we get a liberal lawyer like Obama or Hillary elected as president! We can really kiss it goodbye! The sad thing is that most Americans have no idea what happens when their liberal policies are followed; let me give you a hint!

This is the first time I have ever posted to a "blog", so please accept my apologies in advance if I am not following proper protocol, etc. I will gladly accept any and all advice.
I have recently read that something called the "Global Poverty Act" is coming up for a vote in the Senate next week. I understand that this Act will cost an additional $850 billion dollars over what we already pay in foreign aid. I also understand that it will "commit" the U.S. to spending .7% of our GNP to foreign aid. I have also heard that this money would be channeled through the UN.
