By James Reynolds
Before Jimmy Left the country to embark on his so-called peace talks with Hama's, he eluddd to the fact he was supporting BHO.
He returns and staunchly supports him. Afterwards, Hama's, Chavez, Iran, and several other rogue nation or millitant groups suddenly say "we support BHO".
Kind of makes you wander what he promised them and if he had the support of BHO before going over. Seems America somehow is being hi-jacked on the promised of delusional peace.

Posted at 12:40pm on Jun. 20, 2008 Far right and libertarians should vote "McCain"
By James Reynolds
Although the far right and libertarians are not energized by McCain, for some particiular reason, they should vote for him. Would we like to see a swing judge replaced by some very young liberal? They would misrepresent the very foundations our forefathers fought so hard to have put in our constituion without any regard to years of precendence or the writings of that generation that clearly laid out what people were thinking when writing the constituion. You can not interpret the constitution without knowing and giving preference to the very thoughts the writers had when writing it. Yes you can read and interpret some things differently, but if you read the papers surrounding the ideas you can clearly only come to one interpratation.
McCAIN WILL APPOINT CONSTITUTIONALIST that will abide by Judicial powers given them not the congress. The flexibility Kennedy is talking about belongs to Congress not the judiciary. They can and will re-write ineffective laws, but a court decision gives no flexibilty to do so.
Second, McCain is a federalist at heart, meaning smaller government, more state control, more individual rights, and a strong national security. Those ideas helped propell Ronald to victory. Federalist tend to believe in the decency of Americans to do and want the right things instead of believing the GOVERNMENT always knows best. Ole Ronnie would be dissapointed for our party not sticking up for our founding values. Yes McCain is centrist in some areas, but there is always more than one way to accomplish something without abanding core values. Ronnie was tough but at times he too was in the middle.

Posted at 10:40am on Jun. 20, 2008 Black Vote not secured by Obama, McCain needs to take townhall to them
By James Reynolds
By talking to several black people of the community, they said their are misconceptions of their views, and are strikingly very similiar to republicans. They want conservative family values, against same sex marriage, and pro-life. Although, Obama has said he is against gay marriages, many feel his liberal views will put in place ideas and laws that will eventualy decieve the minds of voters into letting those marriages to eventually take place. The percieved notions that blacks are mostly democrats, they say is flawed. The response I got was most are independent but lean democrat, only because democrats at some small level have came into their communities and talked directly with them, however lately democrats have been taking assumptions the votes are theirs and have not been talking to them.
Many feel that Obama is also taking advantage of them, thinking their votes are his because he is black. They say they don't want the black community pandered to, but just to feel included. His liberal views are scaring the church going and fiscal conservatives. They have been dying to come back to the republican party for some time, but for them politics are not just ideological, but also personal. I have been told by many if McCain would hold townhall meetings in black neighborhoods so they could be heard as well as personally hearing him, without the bias of the media, many would give him their vote over to him.

Posted at 2:20pm on Jun. 18, 2008 Fizzled Zeal in Obama's Appeal
By James Reynolds
I am white and married to a beautiful black women with four kids. When I first heard Obama's call for change and how he wanted a better america, I thought this maybe the first time I ever vote for a democrat. He is charismatic and speaks elloquintly. I thought to myself "man he is the same as my kids (mixed race). He could do a lot to further the relationships between the races and give my kids a better foot in the world." I am not saying there is much of a divide to begin with, because in my area we are pretty much accepted.
This country is ready for a black president and I thought "wow he is exciting,he has a chance". It has been said for years Colin Powell would easily win the presidency if he decided to run, and it would be Colin Powells win if it were Obama and him running against each other, I don't think anyone would deny that. Obama was giving me hope of the future. He seemed much like what everyone was saying" he is another JFK or MLK". I was excited and ready to poll the lever for the first time for a democrat without any regret. My logic though soon kicked in and said "hey you never voted for anyone without checking them out completely, and you can't do it now".
So, I look at his proposed programs, when he finally came around to showing them. I found out it goes totaly against my ideals of smaller federal government and more control to states. He is a liberal in disguise of a change agent, and what is troubling is he is going after the younger voters who do not know most of his policies have been tried and failed drastically
