Very tough break indeed. Dana Perino choked up at the press briefing when announcing it. Tony and his family will certainly be in my prayers.

I don't know that Ms. Perino will be nearly as good as Tony. Tony was tough and didn't take BS. Dana seems a bit more timid, but maybe she'll grow into the role. She certainly isn't painful on the eyes!

God bless Tony Snow and grant him a speedy recovery and comfort to his family.

My heart goes out to Tony and his family. I was a listener to his radio show the last time he had the bout with cancer.

My prayers are with him and his family. I pray that God will work a miracle in his life and heal his cancer.

Over at DailyKos, the Tony Snow thread has over 600 comments expressing sadness over the diagnosis and thoughts and prayers for him and his family. I wish him and his family strength to meet the challenge ahead.

One would surely assume that this type of news, if even true, would catapult Tony Snow to do what is best for the people of the United States of America, including, but not limited to telling the truth. Perhaps, he is one of those believers in the Old Testament, but if not, he needs to get right with Him. I pray if he does not that he does not see the gates of Heaven. P.S. Alberto Gonzales is in Texas news big times on what is billed as a continuing pedophile ring that is involved in widespread manner, juvenile detention centers. Who amongst us can help but feel compassion? Mr. Snow is a relatively young man with a family who love and support him. That combined with his own determination to do what he can to overcome his present illness serve as lessons to us all. Wishing Tony Snow the best, for it is a good rule, to do onto others as you would have them do unto you.

Ninety percent of the posts -- most of whom are Dems -- have wished Mr. Snow well. The other ten percent or so can be typified as saying, you serve an evil administration, youre getting what you deserve. Odd that most of these people are of a party that champion abolition of the death penalty, but no matter. In the spirit of those getting what they deserve, I hereby wish liver cancer on those who cannot find it in their spirits to wish a dying man well, who merely chose to serve his country as he saw best, simply because they -- in their infinite sense of wisdom and generosity -- have a drastically different view. I am a proud Democrat, and I denounced whomever it was that were saying hateful things about Snows cancer. Only God knows the truth about Snows dishonesty, we have no reason to be judgmental. I am fairly new to the blogs, but so pleased that I found all of you! Well, I have really spent some time the past month looking over many blogs...which ones I like which ones I don't and so I've been perusing TONS of Conservative Blogs and also have frequented a few of the Left's contributions to get a taste.

Anyway, I am very saddened to hear of Tony Snow's diagnosis - my prayers go out to him and his family.

At the same time, I need to make a comment about the reactions to the Snow announcement. As was posted in depth earlier here, there were a TON of vile postings at the Washington Post's site. Also, I was over at LeftCoaster and although there were some civil posts of kindness, the majority were horrid. But here's my observation. When Senator Edwards' wife's news came out, I saw the reaction on probably 20 Conservative blogs and i did not see ONE vile or attacking posting against her or her cancer. Sure, some took the chance to say they sure don't agree with her husband but she was treated with respect on every one of those 20 blogs that had the issue up.

So today, I see this evil, this total disregard for another human being being posted on the Washington Post and the Left Coaster (I believe Huffington decided to close their comment section). I just cannot figure it out. Are these people really this demented or may I ask...is there a chance that some of those comments are "staged" to make a blog look bad?

I don't know, it just saddens me.

We're still hoping that he will not only pull out of this one, but can consider serving the country in a larger capacity someday: President Snow.
