There are many fronts on which to be united. Pork is a great one! Pork is so ugly.... yet they still love it so.

No other reason.

And old Conservative mantra: Keep em divided.

Absolutely. What aggravates me so much is that if we let the Dems have either the Senate or the House they have the potential to cause major damage either way. In the Senate, they control judicial nominations and can hold up basically anything with the cloture vote. In the House, they control the amazing purse strings.

What's a conservative to do? Your party fights better as the minority, but you also don't want to allow the Dems the power of either house of Congress.

fight.

It is amazing that both parties only manage to see corruption when they are out of power. Heres to hoping that when we get back the majority todays fights aren't forgotten.

"If only this fighting for the taxpayer had been present at this time last year..."

Exactly! The dems have been sure to point out the fiscal irresponsibility of republicans the past 12 years. Its like these clowns only want to talk about it when they are in the minority and would like to get the majority back. Once they run the show, all fiscal sanity goes out the window.

we are strongest when we stand for our principals in power or out of power.

Not to change the subject, but I would like to some support for limiting the power of the President. I think Bush has gone too far - not because of anything he did, but because of the precedent.

Are you comfortable with a President Hillary with the authority to wire tap anyone without any oversight other than a loyal lackey? Or having the ability to arrest someone and held for years without charges or a lawyer?
