my heart was full during the 99 days and it hurt when he passed however it is a beautiful memorial.
Peace through superior fire power:)
had this family chose abortion. The lives of many were changed by this birth...and effected many for the rest of their lives.
Need I say that the birth and death of few effect the many... And just who would know?

I'm just glad I could take his abbreviated course on video. I think Eliot has a lot of grateful students besides his parents.
Stories like this remind us of that. Just think of how petty we are being when someone messes up our drink order at Starbucks and we get all bent out of shape, or when we don't get that promotion we think we deserved.
We all should be more greatful for the things we DO have and stop worrying so much about the things we DON'T have.

As Rudy and Mitt fumble on abortion, Conservatives fume. Chat here:

With malice towards none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see right.
Eloit did it today. Thank you Eliot. And thank you Alexham for posting this.
Eliot's parents are truely blessed. Their faith in God inspires me. They could have chosen to be bitter. They at least had some time with Eliot and they made the most of it. Unfortunately, some parents choose to rob their child of life and they rob themselves of hope. Instead of choosing to live with the guilt of taking a human life, they were given the joy of 99 days with their child. I bet they also learned a lot during that time.
There was a story on EWTN about a child who's parents were told that the baby would be born with severe birth defects and the doctors suggested they look into their "options". Well, miraculously, the child was born without any defects and grew up perfectly healthy.
EWTN also featured a girl who's mother attempted to abort her. The abortion failed and she was born. She had cerebral palsy and yet she grew up to be a remarkably capable young woman.
Eugenics is alive and well in Europe. I pray that we stifle it here before more children are robbed of their opportunity to live. Pride was the first sin and in our pride as humans, we sometimes think we know all the answers. We sometimes think that everything in life is meant to be decided by us. There is One, and ONLY One who has the right to give and take life and I think most of us here know who He is.
As a very new father (5 weeks) I know that any time that you can spend with your child is precious. God bless.
