For Sunday, February 3, 2008

FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace chats separately with Republican Presidential hopeful John McCain and to Dem Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Meet the Press (NBC): Tim Russert has another panel of strategists-not-involved, including Matalin and Carville, Mike Murphy and Bob Shrum.
This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos talks to Hillary and to Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.
Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer talks to McCain and Dem Presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer will have some very interesting guests: Republican Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee, Bill Bennett, Ralph Nader, and Romney.
~~~~~
FNS has definitely arrived, if there were still any lingering doubts. The two frontunners.
I don't care for these Russert roundtables, but it should be noted that Murphy has worked for both McCain and Romney. I don't know why they still include Bob Shrum. Both Matalin and Carville have been involved in winning the big prize in the past, but Shrum is kind of a waste of airtime.
Mitt rates TW this week, and Barry's an FTN guy. Huckabee sneaks onto LE with Romney and Nader.
(Bob Shrum… geez.)
Cause I have a request that may be fun for you; This go around, just for kicks and giggles, pretend that you actually respect Romney for being a successful Republican Presidential Candidate, and relay the interview content accordingly. Deal? Then, I'm sure after Romney loses to McCain, we Rombots will all look back at your example and fall in line with the McCain takeover, cause we'll know that behind the political positioning taking place they still can be seen as decent men.
Go ahead, make your jokes, Mr. Jokey... Joke-maker. But let me hit you with some knowledge. Quit now.
Everyone one of them who appears on a Sunday Show to be interviewed is treated the same. That's the way I operate this review, and I hope you score no points by claiming otherwise.
It is trolling.
But I really was just asking that you try and put Romney in a good light this round. If he does not deserve it than fine. I think you are intelligent, insightful, honest, and enjoy sticking it to Romney. I do not think that people should not respect what you write or say, your arguments are always thought out and reasonable. I would regret if I had that effect. Seriously.
shills who grace the tube on Sundays) with the respect they deserve -- and that's very little usually. I find it very refreshing even (or especially) when it's my candidate (McCain)who is on the receiving end of Mark's satire and knowing jabs.
Last year, when McCain and the ineffable Joe Biden were on every Sunday show every Sunday (or so it seemed), Mark was merciless in pointing out the self-serving nature of their appeals and agendas.
Believe me, Romney is not being treated any differently from any other candidate.
I love this guy! His books are amazing.
I'm with you. I think he either just got his first win and might have won that seat on MTP or they needed another loser to accompany Carville. He has only one more win than Shrum and that was landing Mrs. Matlin (Carville).
Congratulation Bob; your first win ever is a seat on MTP.
We all know how liberals are when comes to emotions and feelings; maybe Tim didnt want to hurt Bob's feelings.
With ANY luck at all he will announce that he is joining the McCain campaign!!
