That a man of Kerry's public stature and deep sense of personal humility would need to be told when his presence wasn't required?

Evil men hide from the truth, but good men stand upon it.

"I'm kind of old-fashioned. I like to engage my brain before my mouth." Donald Rumsfeld

Although he is probably significantly taller than all four of the others, he looks so small. He almost looks like a little boy or pupet that Chuckie is holding.

"Hey guys, wait for me! Have you heard my latest joke about the troops?"

Allowing these intellectual giants to "lead" the Senate.

Let's see...

We've got Chuck "Who wants a copy of Michael Steele's credit report?" Schumer, Harry "Land deal" Reid, Patty "Osama's Day Care Center" Murray, and Dick "US Troops are no better than SS Officers" Durbin now in charge.

The inmates are going to preside over the asylum. Wonderful.

In that group, Kerry fits in magnificently. Five peas in a pod. Chuckie just showed his NY rear-end when he made a public spectacle out of his "You're not in the club" comment. Kerry may not ever be a member of the Senate Leadership team with these Ds, but he is dang sure right in the middle of the club. Losers, all.

I meant what I said and I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful 100 percent.

Looks like a perp walk to me. :)

And their court jester, Rigoletto.

You can’t hardly buy entertainment this good!

Mexican Soup Opera isn’t this good

This is Italian TV funny!

But, as in all things, people are going to be hurt by this, true.

How can this possibly be partied on The Daily Show?

Voted in the top three in the Dimmest Bulb category, yet Kerry has to take a back seat to Patty Murray. Strange times.

Maybe Kerry was left behind purely out of affirmative action.

I cannot begin to express the joy I feel in looking at that picture, how very appropriate for Kerry to be where he is on the outside looking in.

Peace through superior fire power:)

Think the picture is funny? Then read THIS:

And it becomes even MORE funny!!

I'm glad about this, personally. Kerry has been a nasty blotch on the Democratic Party's face ever since he started blundering about immediately pre-Election, and amazingly he hasn't stopped this blundering. His image is clear Massachusetts Elitist Liberal (despite what he really is), and after 2004 the Republicans are undisputable experts at using him to their advantage.

This combined with Murtha losing makes me feel a little better about the Democrats. At least they don't try to rally around a political landmine.

...since he started blundering about immediately pre-Election...

So, let me get this straight. It's OK that he sat in front of a Congressional Committee in 1971 and lied about the actions of US troops in Vietnam. It's OK that in 1972 he goes to Paris and commits treason by meeting with the representatives of a country that we were at war with. It's OK that he opposed every use of military force by the US, and sometimes he was before it before he was against it. It's OK that he spends 20+ years in the Senate and has nothing to show for it but a nice retirement package.

But his pre-election blundering causes him to be a blotch on the party.

That says everything I need to know about todays Democratic Party.

For example, look how much compassion he had for a grieving widow. It's touching.

in every picture ever taken of him? one more to add to the album with the footballing, the windsurfing, the elmer fudding, etc, etc.

Does she have any redeeming qualities or talents? I can't say I've seen her on TV that often, but she struck me as a pretty poor speaker, perhaps the 3rd worst Dem in the Senate.
1. Byrd - Lifetime Achievement Award in worst speaker category. "Whew! He's finally finished." "Nah, that's just another pause while he tries to remember what he was talking about."
2. Mikulski - I always picture the people in the 1st row must look like those in the 1st row at a Gallagher performance. "Watch it honey - Here comes more spit! Duck!!"
3. Murray? - Doesn't she always sound especially whiny? (Then again, so do most Dems.)

very soon after 911, and suggesting that if we wanted the Muslim world to revere us, that we should emulate UBL's social policies in the Middle East, rather than killing them. In other words, she dared tell the nation what democrats truly believe, and survived it, thanks to the cowardice of GOP congressmen. So, since she is immune from being discredited no matter what she says now, since she can't top taking UBL's side over Bush, they made a her a bulletproof leader.

Plus, unlike Mutha, she has footwear better suited for searching for the Day care expert, ie UBL.
