Where Are The Right Wing Bloggers?
Introducing the RedState Blog Project
By Erick Posted in Blogosphere — Comments (11) / Email this page » / Leave a comment »
RedState gets contacted all the time by people looking for bloggers in various states. We know of a few, but we also know there are a lot more out there that we don't know about. Where are the right wing bloggers?
RedState is going to compile a list, state by state, of the right of center political bloggers in each state. We're not going to list every blog -- just the politically oriented blogs that focus on the politics in a particular state or location within a state.
If you have a blog or know of a blog that you think should make the list, submit it here. We'll check it out and start a dedicated page listing all the state and local right of center bloggers.
You can see the list here.

If you can't find anybody in California, and someone is looking for help to get something started in California, let me know, heh.

While putting my personal stuff aside, I wonder if you would support some of us volunteering to "take" our state, do a little more "shopping" and come back on a state by state basis.
I would be MORE than glad to volunteer to do a little further Texas shopping (I figure I gotta ask these guys for their permission to include them on the list) and I will volunteer fraubudgie to assist (until I get b-slapped) ;-)
Proud to be: politically incorrect, straight, white, pro-life Christian, and of the opinion the spotted owl tastes just like chicken.
Echo me in with Neil Stevens, except up here in the People's Republic on the Right Coast. I don't have an independent blog yet, because the new Drupal platform fixed most of my gripes with the old Scoop machine, but I could be persuaded to start one if necessary. And if you would like me to do so, please send some ammo., too. ;) Kidding! That's a *joke*, moonbats.
If there is a need, I will do it. I may do it anyway, but just let me know if you think it would be worth it to take my attention away from RS.
I am a hawkish warmonger with a crusty demeanour and a heart of steel. But I have a softer side.
You know, maybe if we can't get enough people in states like Massachusetts or California to do a site, people from the solidly-Democratic states should band together.
Nah, it probably wouldn't work, since this sort of venture would surely work best with people feeding off of each others' posts.
Worth a thought though.

I've been installing a truck engine all day today (don't ask, or do ask, only if you want to know) but I think we could talk about that. I'll drop you a line so we can talk about our status as "Republicans in Exile" and what we might do about it together. Could be fun. In fact, that might be a neat title for the blog...
It's not the speed that kills you, it's the sudden stop that gets you every time.
So sure, mail me your thoughts!

We are working on a similar project here in Michgan. We would be happy to share our work with RedState.
Erik, thanks for all you do!
