Bring it, Nancy.
Your timing is *exquisite*, by the way.

Or are you just trying to throw a bone to your base?
New Iraq measure would require withdrawal
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday she would bring a new Iraq measure to the House floor shortly to provide $50 billion in funds for the war, while requiring U.S. troops to begin redeploying out of Iraq immediately and conclude by the end of next year.
- Because I don't think that it's going to work this time, Madame Speaker. They're pretty ticked off at the way that the Senate confirmed Mukasey 53-40 (odd how all the Democratic Senators running for President had somewhere else to be?), not to mention that little incident where House Democrats ran away from a Cheney impeachment like scared little bunnies. You went one too many times from that well, Madame Speaker, and you and yours have no-one to blame except you if it starts going dry.
So let's get this over with - and do you even have a simple majority?
Are you sure?

Trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
This is nothing more than a mental deficency. The MSM has no problem referring to the "Bush Syndrome", yet the little mental midgets wouldn't dare classify this Congress with anything nearly as demeaning. If you just take the 'failures' of this Congress, Bush has driven them to insanity in the cloak room. What a hoot to hear old Harry & Nancy scheming on how they'll embarass the president. Yeah right, in your dreams. Imagine having this group in your corner for a fight - Reid, Pelosi, Obey, Hoyer, Durbin, & Leahy; geeeee, I'm scared.
Pelosi couldn't make it any clearer whose side she is on. Her hate for Bush and Repulicans is all consuming and she would rather help the enemy then be a part of why America is great. She is the enemy withih and that will never change.
I guess all those nuts outside Nancy's home are going to be there for a while... Where is Cindy when ya need her

Madame Speaker is just delivering for them what they demand.
All these years her fellow Bay Area dingbat has owned the distinction of being "Stupidest Woman Ever Elected To High Public Office" - looks like America's Mother-in-Law wants a shot at the title.
I mean, a surrender-by-date-certain bill on the eve of Veteran's Day? Good-Googa-Mooga!
The gift that keeps on giving...

She is, thankfully, the least effective, most divisive, Speaker- possibly in history.
It's always about money. "Follow the money" - Deep Throat.
Pelosi is doing this to raise campaign contributions from the loony left. She and those she is raising the money for don't need the money, rather the objective is to soak up all possible money which might otherwise go to challengers on the incumbents' left.
It is error to think that the objective of legislation is to get it enacted. The objective of legislation is almost always to win re-election for somebody or somebodies, and the re-election need not be of those who introduce the legislation.
And the only election that counts is the next one, which here are primaries. I.e., what this crap by Pelosi does to Democrats in the general election means nothing. The only thing that counts is the 2008 primaries.

beat your head against the wall.
Why is it that only republicans are called stupid? Then again the Democrats are terrified at the possibility of continued improvement in Iraq, a neat twist on patriotism.
