Bush Whackin'
and Other Dem Congress Beatdowns

I could have left this be at the video of Bush smacking down the House AND the Senate, but there is oh...so much more candy in today's trick or treat bag.
W. just took down a couple willow switches and ordered Harry & Nance to meet him behind the woodshed...
More below the fold...
There's a Congress at war with itself and a Dem majority at war with its howlers and screamers, and perhaps best of all (my favorite anyway) a party ready to draw the long knives on on its most useless talking head who likely will go down in history as the most pathetic loser to ever run a House into the ground on the winds of change...that ultimately became "change for the worst."

It's clear who the real usurpers of freedom are. Remember the 'before the election rants' about how the Republican's were stealing your freedoms? Now every bill has a huge tax hike as 'the sweetner'. I wonder how many are saying, is everything about increasing taxes? Short answer is if you are a Democrat, YES.
Democrats, raise taxes, fund socialism and gun control. Some things never change.
If there ever was a president that knows about accomplishing nothing, it would be Bush. He and his gop dominated admin accomplished nothing productive from 200-2006 - but now he's worried about his legacy. Don't worry Shrub, that's in the bag already. You're right down there with Carter - in fact, I think you're below Carter. Grow up Mr. President, and quit whining like a school girl. You're embarrassing yourself and our great country.
Socialism doesn't work. It looks nice on paper, but it's been tried and it's failed miserably every time (usually accompanied by widespread death and suffering).

In the haystack-endorsed spirit of 'let's play with our food awhile....
And the year '200' you'll have to blame on Screw-The-Fat-Intern Bill, since George W Bush took office in 2001.

Lower than Carter? you were obviously not alive during that time. But I was, Wake me up when we have double digit unemployment, inflation, and interest rates, gas lines, and spreading totalitarianism all around the world.

I never thought I'd say it, but it's been a bit dull around here since the recent invasion of the RP spammers.

I could feel the "You're such an unqualified job seeker that we wouldn't hire you in times of 0% unemployment," sting from here...

Several years of sustained economic growth and full employment and effective tax cuts. No, his Presidency was not anywhere close to where it have been with the table set like it was, but those 3 things listed above already qualify Pres. Bush as a far more effective leader than Mr. Carter ever could hope to be.
I don't mind Congress being unable to spend, in theory. If only it would result in a smaller budget, instead of earmarks in the dead of night later on.
