The John Doe Provision

After months of negotiations, all outstanding issues on the so-called 9/11 bill have been resolved, save one: the John Doe Protections/ "Flying Imams" provision. According to sources in both the House and Senate, House Homeland Security Chairman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) is trying to kill this amendment that would protect Americans who, in good faith, report suspicious activity that could indicate a terrorist attack. This despite the fact that Thompson has repeatedly publicly stated he'd support the measure, even as recent as a press conference with 9/11 families last week.
Negotiations are ongoing and could wrap up at any time.
Call Bennie Thompson immediately and tell him that the John Doe Protections must be included in the 9/11 bill!!
