Seriously, it was at least an order of magnitude beyond the level of the people we're talking about here. First of all, they got an audience in the early 1960's to buy the idea that a horse could talk -- and they actually pulled it off without CGI and Steven Spielberg stage managing the whole thing.
Remember, these are the people who tried to foist John Kerry off as "reporting for duty" in the mold of George Patton. I think the Democrats would have had a better case if they had recruited Mr. Ed., but they weren't that creative.

As a replacement for Cindy Cheehan. First of all, she can't have children. And second of all, she's already proven herself to be really awful at playing a retard, and even that performance was better than what she had to say on The View. Unless she loses another 50 pounds and gets a mountain-bike sponsorship gig, it's all over for her.
