Thanks for that.
I, for one, always find it interesting when people are fiercely anti-abortion and at the same time pro-death penalty.
Certainly anyone is free to believe whatever floats their boat, but it seems to be an pretty flexible "morality" in this case.
the difference is entirely about guilt and innocence.
The death penalty is reserved for someone who has been tried, found guilty and sentenced, having demonstrated, through their actions that they no longer deserve a place in society.
An abortion kills an innocent life that is guilty of absolutely nothing.
This is one of the lamest excuses the left trots out to excuse abortion -- "well what about the death penalty?"
Get the left to ban all abortions except for documented cases of rape, incest or to save the life (not health) of the mother and I'll be at the front of the line waving a "Free Mumia" poster.

Respectfully, it's my belief that rape and incest are not valid excuses for abortion. As horrible as it is, a life is a life, murder is murder, etc. I do agree, however, that a mother has a right to abort to protect her life.
due proccess rights, until then, I think the label belongs on the other side.
A peson sentenced to death at least had several due proccess rights met.
A baby in the womb is declared guilty and sentenced to death on the whim of a woman and for the profit of a doctor, with very few exceptions.
Inconvieniencing somebody shouldn't warrant a death sentence.
1. Abortion. Innocent child killed in utero. No due process afforded. Indeed, no one has standing or is legally allowed to interfere.
2. Capital punishment. A felon, in most cases a murderer, is convicted by jury trial after being indicted by a grand jury (or equivalent process). He has many appeals.
Quite a bit of difference.
Don't bother answering. You can't. We've decided we are over our quota of idiots. Don't worry. You'll have more company before the end of the weekend.
