Even when state interventionists admit that state intervention in the economy is doomed, they are for it.

Insanity, they say, is repeating the same mistake over and over and expecting a different result each time. In this case, the same mistake is repeated over and over, the same result appears to be expected, and the mistaken party is utterly nonplussed by the whole thing.

I just don't have any idea how to respond to that. None.
