Bob Corker Ad

Bob Corker now has out his "intro to the people" ad and he's pulling in the big guns. You'll recognize the voice -- it's Fred Thompson, who conspicuously leaves his own name out of the list of Republican Senators sent to Washington. Fred, by the way, is Paul Harvey's fill in this week too.

No word when we'll see the ad of Harold Ford, Jr. in the Playboy Mansion, which will serve as a great contrast to Ford's latest ad with him in a church.

"Peace had a chance"

Is he done with politics, or was he just frustrated with the Senate? Is there any thought that he'll run for governor of Tennessee in 2010? Why didn't he run in 2002 as he left the Senate? If he had run, and if he had won, then we'd be talking about him as a frontrunner for President in 2008.

Hopefully he won't be content to be a token conservative voice on Law & Order forever.

Chattanooga is a lovely city. If he is a good republican I can overlook his graduating from U of Tenn.
