President Bush will be in Perry, GA here shortly. I should be in the crowd doing crowd control, but figured I'd stay home and go to Evelyn's first Halloween party -- family before politics.

In any event, I've got a great seat in front of the TV. Turn to FOX News right now.

By the way, I just heard from several people on background that they expect to call GA-8 for Mac Collins.

5:08 pm. The President takes the stage.

Live-blogging below the fold.

Says he wants Mac Collins to go back to Congress. "He's a no nonsense fella."

Points out that Mac was a Reagan Democrat and then saw where the Washington, DC Democrats were taking the party "and came home to the GOP."

"We don't want Washington Democrats running the House of Representatives."

Praises Sonny Perdue. "You talk about a man who deserves to be re-elected. That's Sonny Perdue!"

Charlie Norwood, Phil Gingrey, and Tom Price, all Georgia Congressmen are in attendance.

The whole GAGOP team is there.

Crowd boos as he said the folks in DC have already decided the outcome of the election. He then says, "The same thing happened in 2004, you might remember. In 2004 the movers never showed up. And they're not going to show up in 2006."

Goes over GOP accomplishments including modernizing the border and sending the national guard down there.

He now highlights the New Jersey Supreme Court decision. "We believe that marriage is between a man and a woman and should be defended. I will continue to appoint judges who strictly interpret the law and don't legislate from the bench. When you're out rounding up votes, you remind people that America is better off with John Roberts and Sam Alito on the United States Supreme Court."

Says the big differences between the parties come down to taxes and national security. He says he and Mac Collins believe "you can spend your money better than the government can."

He says the Dems believe they need more of your money because they believe they can spend it better. Uses the "Nancy Pelosi must be a secret admirer of tax cuts" line again.

Highlights Charlie Rangell saying he would get rid of all the tax cuts.

Moves on to the War on Terror. He says our children and grandchildren will one day ask if we did everything we could to win the war on terror.

"There is no negotiation with these people."

"The best way to protect the American people is to bring the enemies to justice before they hurt us again."

He points out that it is hard to measure progress in this war, unlike previous wars.

Says we need to stay on the offense and "Just Say No" to the Democrats.

Says he made the right decision in getting Saddam Hussein out of power.

"Iraq is now the central front" in the war on terror, says the President. He says Iraq has been a magnet and uses Osama Bin Laden's words to prove it and Zawaheri. He also uses Nancy Pelosi's words.

Pelosi said being in Iraq makes the terrorists want to come here. "We were not in Iraq when the terrorists blew up the Cole . . . or on September 11th, 2001, when they killed nearly 3000 of our citizens."

He says our goal in Iraq is victory and admits it is tough.

"Our goals haven't changed but our tactics constantly do."

Jim Marshall will distance himself from Hanoi John pretty quickly. Although, the damage will be done.

A vote for Jim Marshall is a vote to let Congress be run by Surrendercrats like Nancy Pelosi and John Murtha.

Why I was so proud to vote for him twice.

"As nations can not be rewarded or punished in the next world they must be in this."

This is the president I am thankful to have in office. Clear, Passionate and dead on target.

This is Bush at the top of his game. I may disagree with him on immigration, amnesty, and other things, but right now I'm extremely proud to say that I cast my vote for Bush in 2004.

Stay strong, vote Tuesday and make this the worst defeat for the Democrats yet.

when the Democrats ask for your vote on Nov. 7!

in a long while. Can we make this speech into a one or two minute campaign commercial and air it in every vulnerable House district, and doubly in states like TN, VA, MO, MT, MD, and NJ?

but if they made a commercial like that, I'd pony up the dough.
