Why People Should Vote Republican in 2006
We Have A Winner

I will vote Republican in 2006 because:
1. I want a prosperous America, where the poorest can achieve wealth, if allowed to save instead of pay high taxes, while benefiting from low unemployment and limited regulation.
2. I want a freer America, where my rights-- to own a gun, to determine my own healthcare arrangements-- are not infringed in the pursuit of an abstract common good.
3. I want a strong America-- one that does not cower when threatened by its enemies, which defends its interests, and exists as a beacon of hope to all who wish to be free.
Our winner is Liz Mair, who will get a free one year subscription to the Limbaugh Letter and I'll throw in a mug for her too.
What made Liz's statement stand out? It was concise, it summed up succinctly why we need to vote for Republicans, and it was for something, not against something.
Congratulations, Liz.

Well deserved. I must say that the contest was quite the success (and the side benefit of troll blamming fun).
Just as every cop is a criminal, and all the sinners saints - Sympathy for the Democrats
The Democrats seem to have trouble understanding that supporting a secure America is not a bad thing.
For example, have you seen their latest DSCC ad?
It's here:

I think it's awesome because it could just as easily be a Republican ad. I just altered the last line to fit with the rest of the piece, and posted it here:

Now we can use it too! :)
I think the Democrat strategy of turning "stay the course" into a negative is silly. There is a gut instinct to finish what was started, to win the war and not run away with our tails between our legs. We should take back "stay the course" as a positive. That way, when voters see the new DSCC ad, they just have "Stay the Course" pummeled into them, and when it's time to vote, they'll remember the Republican message.

I appreciate it!
It was also fun reading everyone else's more humorous entries!
This has brightened my day a great deal!

It's fun to watch a retard give speeches on national TV.

I'll probably vote democratic because blue states and blue companies seem to provide better returns on investment. Also, the republicans have proven a level of incompetence that I've not seen in a long time. Time to clean house.
Happily retired at age 45 from a blue company in a blue state.
is from those that are holding their breath for a Dem majority.
