He says he'll come back for a stab at any topic of your choice if you contribute $3,000.00 to our fundraising drive.

I myself am willing to give you my unvarnished, undiplomatic take on any candidate on the Republican side (your choice) for $1000.00.

I'll do a "Why Pelosi Was The Best Choice For Speaker" post...and really sound sincere...

for 1,000.00

Any other contributors want to sign up for something antithetical to every cell of their being?

For $100, I will write a piece about all the good Tancredo has done for our party. I'd really want more for that, but I would like to keep it reasonable.

No one of good character leaves behind a wasted life - John McCain

I will write and front-page a limerick, song parody, poem, comedic essay, etc. on Hugh Hewitt's coverage of election 2008 for a $500 donation to Redstate.

For $5000 I'll make the case for Ron Paul (though that may have to be in the diaries if the directors ban it from the front :-)

I was wondering what the translation of the phrase was, so I googled for a latin-to-english translation engine.

This is what it gave me:

"What is right and grasping proposal virus not civil ardor crookedness iubentium , not facial expression urgently tyrant mind how far whole"

....watch you donate $5,000.

Does it have to be a single donation of $3000 or can it be a series of donations?

My guess is he could structure a nice multi contribution deal with built in inflation hedge.

I'll write about the pros of a Giuliani presidency, or refrain posting anything positive about Huckabee after he wins South Carolina.

I will gladly;

- Write a blog espousing the virtues of Saul Alinsky's philosophy
- Stop referring to BHO as "B. Hussein"
- Tell every troll and gadfly they are smarter than me on the facts (ugh, that may be like swallowing goldfish)
- Go to Thomas' blog (which is free) and get myself banned

gladly make the case that the Republican nominee should be the one who is the most electable, as opposed to the most conservative.

But I won't like it, and you can't make me.

Okay, for $3,000 you can make me.

My guess is he would make Jimbo look like Gina Lolobrigitta in Come September: then go to confession of course.

Sorry Jimbo.

If I had the $20 grand to put RedState over the top in one fell swoop I would do it, and let everyone else put the cash back into municipal bonds, but alas, I don't right now. Maybe for RedState 4.0, which I'm sure will be holographic.

So my meagre donation later this week is going to have to suffice until I can do something like have an Honorary Chair established for myself by showering this blog with my largesse. In that eventuality, all you plebes will have to refer to me as Illustrious Potentate Kowalski, and kiss my ring just as you would John McCain's. ;) It's a big ring. It needs kisses.

In the meantime, if Thomas can pick a fight with someone well enough to get them to cough up three grand, it's all to the good. If you're going to challenge the whole blog to a smackdown match, for Christ's sake at least let's raise some money in the bargain. I'm glad to see Thomas hasn't taken a long, solitary walk into the ocean, because despite my status as a cult member, I realize that the only thing that holds this Republic together are people who have the sense to keep themselves out of those kinds of relationships, natch.

And all of this is said in the spirit of Paul Cella's post earlier today. In the end, we're all friends. And we've all got way too much invested in RedState before we

I just have to repeat it.

And you MUST be, PolicyShift, as you can't even spell "smartest" correctly.

Keep up the good work. By your spelling and grammar, I'd make you for a Ron Paul supporter. Am I wrong?

I know for certain that some of you frequent contributors are wealthy as Croesus so you can dig a little deeper.

As for me, I just gave a lot to political campaigns so my ppal account was tapped, and it will take three days for more cash to appear from my bank account.
