A One Point Lead For Hillary Clinton

Hey, if this poll is correct, it is yet another reason for Clinton to continue seeking the Democratic nomination.

To be sure, Hillary Clinton doesn't really need an excuse. But some of her supporters might and this might help provide it. In any event--and again, if the poll is accurate--we have an additional indication that the race for the Democratic nomination won't be over anytime soon.

The Democratic nomination results are based on combined data from April 16-18, 2008. For results based on this sample of 1,241 Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters, the maximum margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.

Last time I checked, one was a smaller number than three. The poll proves nothing.

But I'm glad Hillary will stretch it out to the end. Every Democratic dollar spent on fighting other Democrats is one less dollar available to spend opposing McCain.

If you check the trend line in the article you'll see that this number is in line with the trend of the past week or so.

"A man does what he can and endures what he must."

The relevant number is six, since each candidate's result has a three-point MOE.
