Andrew Harris is the Club for Growth's newest candidate. He's challenging Wayne Gilchrest in MD-01. Gilchrest is a Republican, but since the Democratic take over of Congress, has been a reliable vote for the Democrats. In fact, the district is a solid Republican district.
We need to make Wayne Gilchrest the next Joe Schwartz.

I was gerrymandered into Gilchrest's district. It is NOT a reliable GOP district; it is a reliable Gilchrest district. Although I am about as conservative as they come, I fear a conservative candidate would lose the district in the general, especially since the MD GOP is pretty much bankrupt financially. The only reliable GOP district in MD is Roscoe Bartlett's district; the rest were gerrymandered into tough districts for the GOP - that is what we got out of Glendenning. Ugh.
