At What Point Does The "Reality" Portion Of "Reality-Based Community" Kick In?

I ask because of misleading and appallingly over-the-top ads like the one discussed here. The following is key in debunking the ad:

Since the spot brings up McCain's "100 years" comment, it's worth noting again that among those who have said it is unfair to imply that McCain wants the war in Iraq to continue for years to come is the non-partisan FactCheck.org. It has called that a "serious distortion" of what McCain has said.

Not that seriously distorting the truth stops the supposed "reality-based" crowd. See also this, which rightly ridicules the ad.

I always find it ironic when the party of abortion uses infants in their ads to elicit compassion or protective instincts from the viewers.

I find it even more ironic that an ad meant to elicit these emotions is being run for the benefit of a candidate who voted against the Induced Infant Liability Act (the Illinois version of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act).

Obama will do his best to prevent Alex from voluntarily joining the military when he turns 18, but if the kid had managed to survive a late term abortion Obama would have been perfectly okay with allowing little Alex to languish and die in a soiled utility room.

Maybe she should be posing this question at our great NY rep who wants to restart the Draft.

Where is Obama's disowning of this Ad? McCain was man enough to go against the Obama ad in TN within an hour, Obama has stood silent on this. Keep it Classy Barack.

Voting for the Sexy(Pres) - Sexy(VP) Dream Ticket
Jindal/Palin 2012

on 1210 AM in Philly was talking about this today. A caller who claimed to be a "Republican", who saw the light because of the war and is now voting for BHO, was pumping out that if McCain wins the GOP will continue to try again to reinstate the draft. The left never lets me down when it comes to their ability to manufacture "truth".

The majority of callers pointed out that it is all volunteer force and that "baby Alex" when old enough would make that decision for himself to join the military. One would hope that his mother will stop using him for a prop in future MoveOn releases. She brings new meaning to the phrase "useful tool".
