Basic Economics And The Democratic Debate

Via InstaPundit--Happy Blogiversary, by the way--comes this excellent critique of many of the economic claims and arguments advanced by the Democratic Presidential candidates in last night's debate. A must read and something that news organizations would do well to popularize; after all, they are supposed to be in the truth telling business.

Speaking of truth telling, Sallie James writes truth to the would-be powers. I'd personally love it if the Chamber of Commerce were to sponsor the next Democratic debate with a series of "what the heck were you thinking when you said that at the labor-sponsored debate." Indeed, I'm sure that if I follow the squadron of flying pigs (trayf), I'll find myself in a conference room where such a debate is being planned.
