Betrayal of the Female Reproductive Organ

As the Clintons and their supporters continue their destruction of the Democratic Party, we see the latest salvo fired from the thighs of ugly nags.

From the nether regions that see no men, New York's National Association of Gals is out bashing Teddy Kennedy for endorsing Barack Obama instead of Hillary Clinton.

Why?

Because Hillary is a woman and she therefore deserves the endorsement. Check out the letter:

Women have just experienced the ultimate betrayal. Senator Kennedy’s endorsement of Hillary Clinton’s opponent in the Democratic presidential primary campaign has really hit women hard. Women have forgiven Kennedy, stuck up for him, stood by him, hushed the fact that he was late in his support of Title IX, the ERA, the Family Leave and Medical Act to name a few. Women have buried their anger that his support for the compromises in No Child Left Behind and the Medicare bogus drug benefit brought us the passage of these flawed bills. We have thanked him for his ardent support of many civil rights bills, BUT women are always waiting in the wings.

Did his endorsement smack some witch up? Did it leave a black eye? Seriously?

Good grief this is overwrought.

And also, does Caroline Kennedy have to turn in her va-jay-jay because she endorsed Obama? Clearly, she too betrayed women and can no longer be considered one.

Maybe if Janet Reno will endorse Hillary, Since Janet Reno endorsed Hillary that should negate this one man's physical battery against womankind.

I just had the exact same thought - I'll bet we are not the only ones.

I mean, out of all the "slights" to women, doesn't that one even merit a footnote? How about that waitress sandwich he and Dodd had back in the '80s; no mention of that one, either, eh? Hmm. Odd.

Hey, ladies, if you don't like Ted just don't vote for him next time. As for those things you list as having forgiven him for, what you don't mention is the one thing that no woman should ever forgive. (Ker-Sploosh).

or get in for a ride. Same thing.

Leaving aside the clearly (purposefully) provocative language used in this post -- Va-jay-jay? You're better than that! -- the reaction at Dailykos is pretty much the same: a complete and total dismissal of their argument and disbelief that any organization, much less a well-known one, could be both so stupid and so counterproductive toward their own cause. Most people, myself included, were supposing it to be a hoax at first. Also, apparently NOW-NYCity (not NOW-NYState) is naturally pretty upset...

... I thought Chappaquiddick was the ultimate betrayal..???

"Two legs bad, four legs good."

If you haven't figured out yet how hypocritical and masochistic women (in general) are, there may be no hope. Am I the only one who totally expected this? What do you think was my #1 reason for leaving the Dem party 10 years ago? Serial misogyny endlessly excused, aided and abetted by the feminazis and the entire Dem party.

You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.

... how NOW stood up against the ultimate betrayal of Juanita Broderick, Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones, Linda Tripp and Monica Lewinski????

Oh, that's right. They don't stand up for anyone unless they blindly accept their agenda.

They get what they deserve. They will set back the feminist movement another 30 years with this one. Hillary has already sent it reeling to the past.

as far as Teddy is concerned.

These people are so intellectually inbred that anything that the NOWNYS says should be considered the political equivalent of sitting on the porch and strumming "dueling banjos". They CERTAINLY don't speak for the majority of women in this country. If they did, they would never have given a pass to a serial cheater who had an affair with a subordinate young enough to be his daughter. Cripes, *I* was indignant about that, and I'm a penis-bearing facist (read "white hetero male conservative") who just happens to have a couple of daughters.

as a very conservative, feminist-hating woman...i resent that (but only slightly as ladies-i use that term losely- like them give all women a bad name. i guess that's why i don't have many women friends. i wish teddy had given her an endorsement and a car ride across a bridge.

This reaction by NOW isn't surprising at all, given that they have been leading the charge for decades to delegitimize the idea of "honest disagreement" between people. When your entire ideology is based on the idea that there's *my side* and *evil,* then it's not that difficult to see that the slightest deviation from *acceptable* thought/action is tantamount to "betrayal."

Sigh. This is what I'd expect in North Korea, Zimbabwe or Cuba, where one-party states represent *the people* against the exploiters and oppressors. Unfortunately, this is now the dominant form of discourse, if not actual thinking, from a great deal of the left and some on the right as well.

I was making a statement for the record. If anyone whose opinion I care about notes my past association with RedState, I (or Google) can point them to the above comment.

...it's probably worth a chuckle, considering our several go-rounds about my being unable to link to past statements.

Because the civility at myDD and Dkos is more to your liking?

When posting a comment, it's a good idea to have at least a dim notion of what you're talking about.

Failure to accept your premise as being true and divine does not make others wrong.

It's being wrong that makes them wrong. And since my statement wasn't a premise, I wasn't expecting anyone to accept it as being true or false.

If there was a point to your question about myDD and Dkos, please feel free to make it clear.

And isn't it tough to be associated with the loons (however loosely)?

I suppose we can always blame it on President Bush. If it wasn't for him...

My brother's one, and though we disagree on most political issues, I respect him a great deal.

What I don't like is being associated with people who use words like "ugly nags" to refer to people they've never met.

but ugly seems to work.

I should have come up with something harsher than **sclown.

I would say that it pretty much maxed out your clever lever. So, which ones in the picture are your momma, wife and girlfriend?

What, Mark didn't tell you, you were adopted? lol

It wasn't a wish, it was more just wistful.

I thought you were mocking the ugly nags. Lamenting the fact that you, as a democrat, inhabited the same universe as those shrews.

It never occurred to me that you might be defending those carp.

Goes to show you never can tell.

I meant what I said and I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful 100 percent.

... in all seriousness, who would have ever thought I'd be feeling sorry for Ted Kennedy? But this just about does that.
