This is one of the rare occasions when I side with Hillary.
Chelsea, the Bush twins, Cheney's daughters - even the grown children of presidents and vice presidents deserve a rhetorical restraint.
If not, what next?- nappy-headed ho's?
...if she showed similar outrage over MSNBC's Keith Olbermann when he accused President Bush of "pimping General David Petraeus".
Shuster was suspended for claiming the Clintons had “pimped out” Chelsea while Keith Olbermann faced no repercussions for using the same language. Apparently, MSNBC approves of prostitution references as long as they aren't directed at MSNBC's home team Democrats.
Hillary and MSNBC are both guilty of blatant double standards.

Keith is not her daughter and does not work for her campaign.
Of all the 1000's of shots you can take at Hillary - this isn't one of them.
...but it was one of the Left's lap dogs using it against one of their own. For 5+ years, the Democrats have embraced personal attacks, gross exaggeration for the sake of shock, and utter lack of respect . . . when it was used against the POTUS and anyone who dared to question their righteous indignation.
Now that the Left is using the same tactics to devour their own, it's a little late for Democrats to be calling for propriety.

With Bill, OTOH, one can use whatever the winds of inspiration blow one's way.
Wasn't this the drooling potato head that broadsided Rep. Blackburn about not knowing the name of the last fallen soldier in her district? She should have slapped the crap out of him. Clinton should do the same thing.

then this particular vulgarity is at least lessened, because it's typical. The time for liberals to complain came long before Shuster's obnoxious remark and should have started with intra-party and media self discipline and self control. Repudiation of the comments by Durbin, Pete Stark,and a ton of others could have been done, if in fact they weren't so acceptable.
Chelsea is out there actively engaged in campaigning and is an adult. If she wishes to go public in this manner she takes her chances, though her trials will be far less than those of the other party.
For two people who have spent most of their adult lives destroying, smearing, and viciously insulting others, the Clinton's anger would be funny, if they themselves weren't so nasty.
Time for an old saying, "what goes around comes around".

The daughter wasn't taking such an active role in the campaign.
Bottom line: Having your daughter dine with superdelegates in an attempt to convince them to vote for your mother is pretty damn close to being pimped out.

In business, I go to lunches and dinners to solidify relationships. I don't think my company is pimping me out. (But if I'm wrong, I really have to raise my rates. I don't want to become just another cheap trick. I have some self respect, you know!)
