Complete Garbage

The RNC says Obama has no credibility talking about Iraq because he has not been there to see for himself what is going on.
Ike Skelton (D-MO) notes, ""You want to learn something? Talk with the master sergeants, the first lieutenants, have breakfast with them …. You learn a lot."
Brookings Institution military expert Michael O'Hanlon, who advised 2004 Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry, says politicians need to see the post-surge changes in Iraq firsthand.
"I think it's a no-brainer," says O'Hanlon, adding that Obama would be "remiss" as a candidate if he didn't visit soon. O'Hanlon once was sharply critical of U.S. policy in Iraq, but after several post-surge visits he is hopeful of a good outcome.
But, of course, Susan Rice, Obama's senior foreign policy adviser, calls this all "complete garbage."
After all, Obama is omniscient. He sees all and knows all. Just like he knew what all was happening at Trinity United Church of Christ.
Oh, wait . . .

Macho Bambi is the all-knowing, all-seeing swami when it comes to knowing better than everybody else about foreign policy, economics, race relations, and all.
And then he's the king of 'that's not the man I knew' when anything or anybody close to him gets put under the microscope.
I'm betting that when China actually invades Taiwan, he'll say 'that's not the China I knew'.
Unfair. Unbalanced. Unmedicated. -- IMAO
This should work out nicely when Obama unknowingly has these 2 on stage together and tries to act like they are on the same page.
Bring out the chains for his bus tires people.

As I blogged before, at least this one clueless writer is telling Obama not to go. I'm sure he has company. Obviously Skelton read this Time op-ed that foolishly told Obama not to go because he would be completely unable to see through the perennial "Dog and Pony" and would be blinded by the Groupthink. Skelton knows you talk to the sergeants and junior officers too, who will tell you the full deal as they see it.
If Obama can't see through smoke and mirrors then he has no business being president of anything other than the local Girl Scouts.
