Earth to Dana Milbank

Did you mean to do this? Today you write:
Here are some things we can look forward to learning about Barack Obama:· That he was mentored in high school by a member of the Soviet-controlled Communist Party.
· That he launched his Illinois state Senate campaign in the home of a terrorist and a killer.
· That while serving as a state senator, he was a member of a socialist front group.
· That his affiliations are so dodgy that he would have trouble getting a government security clearance.
· That there is reason to doubt his "loyalty to the United States."
These and many other implausible accusations were offered by a group of conservatives yesterday -- including a living relic from the House Committee on Un-American Activities -- in a Capitol Hill basement. The charges ranged from the absurd to the merely questionable, but anybody who watched the Swift Boat campaign of 2004 make John Kerry look like a war criminal knows that's not the point.
Dana, my friend, the first two are true.
His communist mentor was Frank Marshall Davis.
And Obama got his successful start in politics in the living room of Bill Ayers.
Just because you might not like the group, Dana, does not mean everything they say is invalid.
And frankly, if everything else on that list is false, those first two should be enough to give non-elitists who live outside the Beltway pause.

Assuming for the sake of argument that these attacks are actually unfair, I am sure that Dana was equally upset about the clearly fake Bush-dodged-the-draft papers and the constant joking about his "heavy" cocaine use. And I am especially sure that Dana was also defending Newt Gingrich and Bob Dole in 1996 from charges that he wanted to kill old people, starve children, and destroy Sesame Street.
Thanks for your liberal point of view, Dana.
PS: At least he is expressing this view in a column, instead of in a (supposed to be objective) news article.
cover the fourth one, particularly once you add the admitted cocaine use.

that, among other things, stays in business by extorting money from businesses in return for "allowing" those businesses to operate.
So, I think #3 is right, too.
I'm also pretty confident that Barry would have trouble getting a security clearance if one considers Ayers and Wright, and their ties to America's enemies.
I really don't want this pampered putz to have the nuclear codes and access to our spies' locations and operations around the world.

At least the recent Democrat primary voters who had the opportunity to hear about Obama's pastor and his political mentor, Bill Ayers. Would Obama have won Iowa if his relationships with Wright and Ayers and Wright's and Ayer's views were common knowledge?

Ha ha ha! Oh gosh that's funny! That's really funny! Do you write your own material? Do you? Because that is so fresh. "Can we try Obama for treason since he does not wear a flag pin?" You know, I've, I've never heard anyone make that joke before. Hmm. You're the first. I've never heard anyone reference, reference that outside the context before. Because the flag pin is really the only thing the right has to say, right? Isn't it? "he does not wear a flag pin". And, and yet you've taken that and used it out of context to insult us in this unrelated situation. God what a clever, smart girl you must be, to come up with a joke like that all by yourself. That's so fresh too. Any, any Titanic jokes you want to throw at me too? As long as we're hitting these phenomena at the height of their popularity. God you're so funny!

'cause I don't have anything cool like lobsters to give out. I could do toasted ravioli being from St. Louis (or ice cream cones).

Good morning absentee,
Wasn't trying to insult anybody. I'm not going to vote for Obama because he's inexperienced and I think McCain will be better at foreign policy. With that being said, I find the attacks on his patriotism silly. I was just trying to highlight this in a humorous way. Conservatives used to have a sense of humor. Unfortunately, that may have passed with WFB.

been banned. It just came to me! Your comments are consistently so devoid of reason, logic or even a point that the mods keep ypu here as a reminder of the intellectual level of left.

....that the media is going to employ to shield Obama from criticism. It's all just mean-spirited "swift-boating". Nevermind that it's all true. It's SWIFT-BOATING people!
