Gooooood morning, Democrats!
What's on the agenda for today?

Oh, just the usual: there's a new apostate that they have to now ignore, dismiss, and/or defame. General John Batiste. You may have heard of him:
First, the United States must be successful in the fight against worldwide Islamic extremism. We have seen this ruthless enemy firsthand, and its global ambitions are undeniable. This struggle, the Long War, will probably take decades to prosecute. Failure is not an option.
Second, whether or not we like it, Iraq is central to that fight. We cannot walk away from our strategic interests in the region. Iraq cannot become a staging ground for Islamic extremism or be dominated by other powers in the region, such as Iran and Syria. A premature or precipitous withdrawal from Iraq, without the requisite stability and security, is likely to cause the violence there -- which has decreased substantially but is still present -- to cascade into an even larger humanitarian crisis.
Third, the counterinsurgency campaign led by Gen. David Petraeus is the correct approach in Iraq. It is showing promise of success and, if continued, will provide the Iraqi government the opportunities it desperately needs to stabilize its country. Ultimately, however, these military gains must be cemented with regional and global diplomacy, political reconciliation, and economic recovery -- tools yet sufficiently utilized. Today's tactical gains in Iraq -- while a necessary pre-condition for political reconciliation -- will crumble without a deliberate and comprehensive strategy.

- and remember that this is simply just the sort of people that they are.

because they have no moral foundation. In everything they do, "the ends justify the means".

in every single thing they say and do. It's amazing how often they have backed down. Look at NBC as an example.
These people are wrong, they know they are wrong, but the only way they'll back down or reverse their policies (i.e. admit THEY ARE WRONG) is if we challenge them every single time and expose their detestable ideology for the country to see. (The world's opinion doesn't matter.)
Keep it up!!

Good for you, Peg c !! A friend of mine told me that she woke up one morning at 4 a.m. and pondered the world situation for a while and ended up being deeply depressed because the world at large "doesn't like us anymore." I was incredulous that that mattered to anyone at this point, but my response to her comment made her snort her morning coffee all over the place:
"I don't care if they don't like us. My preference is that they are scared to death of us."
We aren't in high school anymore. And this is no popularity contest, it's about survival.
on the global stage. Not both.
As for popularity...why do we have such an immigration issue if everyone hates us so much? (No I don't want to start a benefits and welfare foodfight.) Frankly I'd like it a lot better if we were more feared than liked. In some circles (those of our enemies), I know we are...it makes me sleep better at night.
When libs drone on about world opinion of the U.S., they are as intellectually dishonest as it's possible to be.

Be gone militarist.

Nevermind my age, if every one of us who supports this war and vigorous American self-defense volunteered:
1. There would be no one left here but libs, which means nothing but celebrities, academics, mediocre government workers and a 5th column of Drive-By commies.
2. The country couldn't afford the tens of millions of us leaving our jobs to volunteer for military service. Who would pay the necessary trillion$ in more taxes to support a military of tens of millions?
3. What would be left here for us to fight for and defend if all the useful contributors to society were away fighting? Who would sustain our economy and culture? Screenwriters and journalists? Yeah, I'd fight for that...not!
Think about what you wrote. The vast majority of this country wants us to be defended by those who want to defend us. That's not the same as all of us trying to go off to war. You show a serious lack of comprehension.
I have to abide by the posting guidelines here or I'd tell you what you really are.

The mainstream media are absolutely shameless in failing to call these Democrats on their duplicity.
The Democrats know that, by and large, they will never be held accountable for what they say, so they are free to say whatever is expedient at the moment.

they don't dictate American opinion anymore. This is why you see more and more of them screaming for the censorship (or worse) of bloggers. They can't handle criticism and they can't handle the truth. They also can't control the message anymore and it's making them nuts.
I hope we get flooded with ads like this over the next year. Some good, subversive messaging by conservatives in the new media will make a difference. The Dems cannot withstand scrutiny.

I certainly hope the party paid for the use of 'Low Spark of High Heeled Boys' as the background music for that video. It will be another Democrat scandal in the making. It is quite an appropriate tune to use, though. I can see it now: when did the GOP know the tune was copyrighted? Who decided to use it? Just FYI it was from 1971, performed by 'Traffic' and written by Jim Capaldi and Steve Winwood and is a monster of a tune for displaying the underground rock of the end of the 60's era and beginning of the 'classical' rock era. More importantly the lyrics are so hauntingly like the video intended:
From Capaldi's Verse:
If you see something that looks like a star
and it's shooting up out of the ground
and your head is spinning from a loud guitar.
And you just can't escape from the sound
don't worry too much, it'll happen to you
We were children once, playing with toys.
And the thing that you're hearing is only the sound
of the low spark of high-heeled boys.
The percentage you're paying is too high priced
while you're living beyond all your means.
And the man in the suit has just bought a new car
from the profit he's made on your dreams.
But today you just swear that the man was shot dead
by a gun that didn't make any noise.
But it wasn't the bullet that laid him to rest
was the low spark of high-heeled boys.
If you had just a minute to breathe
and they granted you one final wish
would you ask for something, like another chance.
Or something similar as this
don't worry too much, it'll happen to you
as sure as your sorrows are joys.
And the thing that disturbs you is only the sound
of the low spark of high-heeled boys.
The percentage you're paying is too high priced
while you're living beyond all your means
and the man in the suit has just bought a new car
from the profit he's made on your dreams
But today you just swear that the man was shot dead
by a gun that didn't make any noise
But it wasn't the bullet that laid him to rest
was the low spark of high-heeled boys....high-heeled boys.
If I gave you everything that I own
and asked for nothing in return
Would you do the same for me, as I would for you?
Or take me for a ride
and strip me of everything, including my pride
But spirit is something that no one destroys
And the sound that I'm hearing is only the sound
of the low spark of high-heeled boys.
