Maggie Thatcher cried in public when her son went missing during the Paris-Dakar rally. Of course, the left-wing media was merciless, but it didn't hurt her. Her tears were both genuine and understandable.
Former Australian prime minister Bob Hawke cried publicly on at least two occasions. Once after the massacre at Tiananmen Square in 1989, and another time when the media published stories about his daughter. I can't remember if this hurt or helped him.
She can take heart. She's left hundreds of thousands of military service persons crying with her Uniform Services Former Spouses Protection Act including the women she sought to protect. I guess it never occured to her that more women would join the military. Sorry for the threadjack, sore subject.

I am impressed at her acting ability. They always said that Bill was the actor in the family.
you see better acting skills in the average high school production of "Our Town."
Hillary is totally shameless.
Was it hard for Ken Starr? For Linda Tripp? For Kathleen Wiley? For folks in the Whitehouse travel office? Or for the countless other Americans that Hillary was part of attacking and demonizing over the years?
Does she even understand the irony of being part of the group that invented the politics of personal destruction now complaining about being attacked?
At least we now know how she would handle any tough negotiations with former leaders. So much for "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!", we'll just tear up if we don't get what we want.

She teared up about as spontaneously as Bill finding the stones on Normandy.

Hillary's line was "This country has so many opportunities to be great", but she messed up and said "I have so many opportunities for this country"... she started crying because of the bad line. Well, I groaned when I heard it.
