Hillary's Experience
Uniquely Inexperienced To Be President

In a continuing effort to hide from the fact that she has no executive experience, Senator Clinton repeatedly says she has years of relevant experience.
If the 60-year-old Hillary manages to be elected President, she would be only the third sitting Senator elected President. Hillary has been an elected official only seven years. The two previous sitting Senators, Harding and Kennedy, both served as elected officials for 14 years before becoming President. Harding also ran a successful newspaper and Kennedy served in World War II, during which he commanded a patrol torpedo (PT) boat. That makes Hillary the least experienced.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, questions Hillary’s experience:
I honestly and most respectfully, I don't know Hillary's experience. She's never run a city; she's never run a state; she's never run a business; she's never met a payroll; she's never been responsible for the safety and security of millions of people, much less even hundreds of people. So I'm trying to figure out where the experience is here.
Watch the video:
For once I agree with Hillary. As she told Sean Hannity, her experience is unique:
"I really think my unique" — "my experience uniquely equips me to be president at this time."
That's right - uniquely inexperienced.

Compared to George W. Bush
Hillary Clinton:
7+ years U.S Senator
8 years wife of President Clinton
16 years at Rose Law Firm, ending as Full Partner
George W. Bush:
6 years Governor of Texas
4 years son of President Bush
10 years as CEO of failed companies Arbusto and Harken
I don't recall hearing a lot of talk about the lack of Bush's experience back in 2000.
Senators pontificate, Governor's have to execute a budget and run a large organization.
CEO trumps sleezy lawyer (and the only reason she got the job at Rose was because of Bill).

Certainly not the ones who've been members for an entire 3 hours 36 minutes. Of course in terms of executive experience, Hillary might find that duration enviable.

the same paragraph. The others at least accomplished something while in the Senate. Ask what Hillary has done and you get some really nice sounding platitudes; oh she has done sooo much for women and for NY. The problem comes when you ask the inevitable; such as? The result is meaningless robot speak amounting to any indirect admission Hillary has done absolutely nothing tangible.
Read her website (at your own risk), I dare you to find one meaningful accomplishment.

Paula Jones or Monica Lewinsky. She boffed Bill Clinton. Beyond that I don't see it.
"A man can never have too much red wine, too many books, or too much ammunition." -- Rudyard Kipling
BTW, Paula Jones doesn't belong in that group. Whether or not you think she embellished her story, it's clear she told Bill to go do to himself what he had in mind for her.
Based on the others, she doesn't seem his type.

And yeah, not...Reno, Albright, Shalala...you ever wonder why Bill was only comfortable with really, really ugly women in senior positions? He would never have gotten away with having someone like Rice as a senior advisor.

Look over your shoulder the Clinton Police have now started an FBI file on you for that comment; but it's in pencil, it smells like stale perfume and has a picture of Bush with the eyes poked out paper clipped to the jacket.

Hillary has unique experience for President like I have unique experience to simultaneously be paid 10mil a year in the NFL at 40, be paid 10mil a year playing guitar(at least I can play 3 chords), be paid 10mil a year as a leading man with a few hollyweird starlets.
What a disgusting phony she is.

that it's looking like another write in year for me. This hand will not pull the Hillary lever. The Rudy "I pulled bodies from the WTC 24/7 for weeks on end" and "transformed New York City from a Harlem to the Emerald City" ain't looking good either.
It certainly violates the spirit of the 22nd Amendment. She's already had her 8 years in the White House. And in those eight years she was giving us two for the price of one right?
Why should she be President? Betty Ford didn't become president, Rosalyn Carter didn't become president, Nancy Reagan didn't become president - and none of their husbands got impeached! In fact one of the arguments for not convicting Bill was that his 8 years were almost up and then he'd never be president again anyhow.
Yet those eight years in the White House were just scandal after scandal after scandal - and not just Bill's scandals either. She was involved in a lot of those scandals too.
I don't know much about Mrs. Andrew Johnson, but I do know she had the decency not to run for president.
David,
Hold that thought, it could turn out to be Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton, Bush (Jeb), Clinton (Chelsie), Bush (Barbra)....just kidding on the kids.

From where she sits, the primary functions of the Presidency are to: Rent out the Lincoln bedroom, sell pardons, confiscate as personal property various White House artifacts, turn a blind eye to selling secrets to the Chinese, find loopholes in Campaign finance, cover for 'friends' who steal and destroy potentially embarassing documents, hide FBI files in closets, fire government employees who irritate you for any reason, hate the military, lie.... blatantly, and pursue your personal agenda at the expense of your country.
If that's what you think the Presidency is all about, I have to agree with her. She probably does have more experience than anyone else running.
You know, at the end of the day, I think people know that they're electing a chief executive. They are electing someone who will be Commander in Chief. The price of admission to this great game is qualifications. Just like a job interview, the entrance requirement is that all candidates for the job are qualified given that they were pre-screened through resume reviews.
Hillary and Obama have slipped past the pre-screen for the Democrats, but once the Independents weigh in they will steer away.
This is the deal-killer for the common sense voter that sews up the presidential election for us in 2008.

which is one of the main reasons I don't understand the desire to neutralize this argument by nominating Fred Thompson.
You stole my comment! Well, at least I was not the only one seeing this glaring problem. With Fred Thompson running against Hillary... Hillary will easily be seen as being more qualified. I can see her comparing how long she has been in Washington DC to how long he has been in California. Her campaign is viewed as a well oiled machine while he is fumbling around trying to look authoritative. Its a total slaughter in the making.

for Hillary in a recent comparison of candidates. They did something different for Fred T, stressed his most menial jobs, waiter and stuff like that, and naturally a high paid lobbyist.
Never mentioned his Senate duty.

I have been saying for a while that she has the experience of Laura Bush and Carol Mosely Braun combined...neither of those worthy ladies I would want to run things. It seems to me to be an example of the Big Lie...say it long enough and it becomes truth. I could live with Guiliani (barely, I must say) and I am glad that he is nibbling around the corners of this Potemkin Candidate. But GOP must be careful because if attacks are perceived wrongly by the Sisterhood, you have major problems. I hope that GOP uses its collective head and does not nominate someone, like the current WH occupant, who believes that Jesus sits on his shoulder and tells him what to do...
not be on your shoulder, Jesus is always there.
You have a problem if someone believes that?...I mean, you've been here 20 minutes, let it rip...

Sorry Old Chap...had to work...don't have 20 minutes to wait for a response.
I am glad that you believe what you believe and have no problem with whatever it might be...doesn't make it so, however..just ask one of the Islamoterrorists. I am just pissed that the best that this country can come up with is the past two administrations and the current crop of candidates on either side...I came here for a look see and from what I can gather you all are just as close minded and lockstepped as the crew over at KOS...Jesus has no place in a nation's foreign or domestic policy.

Even when it's to their best advantage to sound reasonable, they can't reference President Bush without their id coming out to play. And it's always playing nasty games, too.
Shoo.

Compared to Obama and Edwards.
There were a number of things that were well-handled in the Clinton White House, and even a number of good policy accomplishments (e.g., NAFTA, welfare reform), but what they had in common was no involvement - or active opposition - by Hillary.
